Is Candy Crush in trouble? Recently, CBS announced the TV show’s season finale has been moved to Saturday, September 2nd.
Based on the popular mobile game, the series follows contestants as they try to match three or more colorful candies to earn points, overcome obstacles, and move up through over 2,000 available levels. Mario Lopez serves as host.
Candy Crush used to air on Sundays, so why move the finale to Saturday? Well, ratings have not been great for the game show since it debuted in July. So far, season one is averaging a .58 in the 18-49 demo and only 2.474 million viewers. Moving the finale to Saturday could indicate a possible cancellation from CBS in the near future.
The two-hour season finale of Candy Crush premieres this Saturday, September 2nd, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

What do you think? Are you watching Candy Crush? Do you think it should be renewed or cancelled?
Yea, it was really dumb. I like playing the game on my phone, but to watch others playing on tv was so boring. Mario Lopez seemed to be trying to hard but you could see his disinterest.
Not many game shows I enjoy. Years ago, password was about the best, and the dating game and newlywed game were okay. I think Jeopardy and wheel of fortune survive because viewers can kind of play along, and guess answers. That’s the secret honestly.
I absolutely loved this show I’m on the edge of my seat yelling at the tv. please renew!!
Cancel this dumb show, watched it twice very bad.
Dumb show…….cancel it & do us all a favor…..
So glad you are getting rid of these stupid game shows these things should be on for the daytime not for nighttime drama and good television producing is fot nights game shows suck in our waste of time very rarely entertaining.
Cancel it. I watched the first episode, and couldn’t believe how insipid it was. I do enjoy the game, but who in their right mind would ever turn it into a show? I mean, really, having the contestants play the freakin’ game on a huge screen? If they wanted to do that, then they should use the TV as a monitor and enlarge the damn thing. Also, Mario Lopez is a deal-breaker. The guy is lousy.
I don’t mind the show and I enjoy watching the show, especially the contestants. I wouldn’t be sad if they cancelled the show, since Mario Lopez doesn’t add very much to the show, like Steve Harvey, Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak/Vanna White, and Michael Strahan does to their respective game shows.
OMG fianlly this worthless stuff cancclled soon.
