What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Hulu platform, Castle Rock is based on the writings of Stephen King, is set in the “Stephen King multiverse” and unfolds in a fictional town in Maine. The second season stars Lizzy Caplan, Paul Sparks, Barkhad Abdi, Yusra Warsama, Elsie Fisher, Matthew Alan, and Tim Robbins. A feud between warring clans — the Merrills and the Somali community — comes to a boil when budding psychopath Annie Wilkes (Caplan) gets waylaid in Castle Rock.
Castle Rock has been cancelled, so there will not be a third season. Could it be revived someday? Stay tuned for further updates.

Will Hulu cancel or renew Castle Rock for season three? Hulu, like the other streaming services, capture their own viewing data so, unless they choose to release that information, it’s difficult to gauge where a series is a success or not. Definitely the best storyline on the entire show!
So I live in Tewksbury Massachusetts and they were filming Castle Rock at our abandoned haunted mental hospital (it’s famously very creepy looking and the history is worse.) just giving y’all some hop if anyone is giving up on the show they are coming out with more seasons I haven’t seen a trailer with the mental hospital in it yet so it may be for season 4.

A show my husband and I look forward to watching even though we just started watching it from season 2 it would be VERY disappointing if they don’t bring it back for another season.

I truly hope there is a season 3 of Castle Rock. Fire starter was the first novel I read, I was 12 at the time, I‘ve been a Stephen King junkie ever since! I love the way the show brings more than just a few stories together. I hope in season 3 we get to revisit Tommy Knockers and Needful Things. What a wonderful concept this series is.

I didn’t care for season 1 but watched season 2 anyway because I wanted to see where the story was going. I really liked season 2 because it was so much better. Better story, better acting. The actress for Annie is very good. I do hope they renew, I can’t stand not knowing the whole story.
I really hope there is a season 3!!! I started reading Stephen King in the 5th grade (1975) and have read every book he has written. I love the way this series has the twists and turns, back story moments and creepiness of classic King novels.
