What’s This TV Show About?
An Amazon Prime Video British comedy, Catastrophe stars Sharon Horgan as Irish woman Sharon Morris and Rob Delaney as American man Rob Norris. After conceiving a child during what was meant to be a one-night-stand in London, Rob and Sharon moved in together to try and form a family. In the fourth season their relationship is tested, when Rob is sentenced to community service for a drunk driving accident and Sharon must learn how to trust him again. While they’ve already had their ups and downs, is their love enough to keep them going?
Catastrophe has ended with season four. Could it return for a fifth season someday? Stay tuned for further updates.

The series is a delight. Intelligent, witty, with dialogue and characters that define what excellent acting and writing strive to achieve. Catastrophe ending in its fourth season without the benefit of a decent finale season is…well, a catastrophe in and of itself, not to mention a slap in the face to the many fans of the series. Amazon’s decision to prematurely end Catastrophe shakes my faith in making any serious commitment to any series on this streaming network.
