Last year, The CW debuted three new TV series and cancelled two of them: Valor and Life Sentence. Neither cancelled program felt like a CW show. Now, they’ve introduced the Charmed TV show reboot. At first glance this updated remake of The WB’s classic seems like it will summon just the type of young viewers the littlest network wants, but will it bewitch the Nielsen ratings gods? Will Charmed be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. **Status update below.
A CW fantasy drama, Charmed stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blai, Ellen Tamaki, and Rupert Evans. The supernatural series centers on three sisters who discover they have special abilities in the wake of their mother’s murder. Now the “Charmed Ones” must harness “The Power of Three” to protect humanity from the demons that prowl the earth.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I really like the old charmed. I also really like this new charmed. I am very grateful they brought it back. It gives me something to look forward to every week. It us my favorite show on the CW. I watch it every week. My best friend loves it too. I love the story lines. They are creative and exciting. Thank you so much CW for bringing it back. It is a great show. I really enjoy it. 🙂 ❤
Cant believe its been renewed for a second season, they cancelled all sorts of shows that were so much better than this dumpster fire, yet this is the garbage they choose to experiment with ‘sticking it out’ with!

You can tell from when they renewed Dynasty that they are in desperate mode. Your ‘sticking it out,’ theory I agree with because they have nothing. They need shows and they can’t just throw in the towel they need something.
It is horrible! The girls can’t figure anything out without Harry’s help! They don’t consult the book and they really don’t work very hard to solve their problems. They want everything handed to them. They do have sisterly love for each other, but they still don’t seem (really connected to each other) .

I find even that sisterly love feels handed in a ‘ok complete stranger come live with me’ type of way, I stopped watching after ep 5!

its Different from the original just a little with younger sisters But I Really , really Like the show wont get the original show back so this will do its close enough & is the New 2018 Version I hope its more Seasons to Come

I think if they…or when they cancel this show….they should have Piper, Wyatt, and Chris walk on the set in the very beginning and blow they ass up and just walk off and the next 25 minutes would just be dead air like how they ended the Sopranos.
I really hope it’s cancelled. And when they do so I hope they realize that they should have just picked up where they left off with the original cast instead of doing a damned and horrid reboot. Really! Just bring the original show back, viewers will NOT mind that the cast is no longer in their 20’s!
Honestly, with the big downhill of the ratings it is only a matter of time before it is cancelled. This show is not charmed it is an SJW agenda. I am a male and a huge fan of the original. I loved Piper. When I saw this first episode all about violence against men and all its insults against men the original Charmed wasn’t like that at all. A show with the originals won’t ever happen. Half the cast don’t get along and Rose won’t do television again and her and alyssa are not friendly with each other after rose blocked her on twitter and Shannen and Holly are feuding too. All we’d get is one starring Piper and her family.
Maybe a movie but not a full series again.
It is true original actors have moved on from show. However Alyssa and Holly both expressed interest in appearing in the show. If the actresses were treated better by the network, I reckon they would have been up to doing a guest appearance in a good continuation version of Charmed that fast forwarded the sisters characters but mainly focused on all their children as adults witches.
I personally want Piper’s sons to take over.

Producers honestly thought adding a young cast would automatically save this travesty of a copied idea.
They wanted to ‘refresh’ (recycle) a show that was great already.
This reboot has to be the worse creation of all time! It does not come close to the original, nor should it be called Charmed. Poorly written. The acting is abysmal and the direction takes a lot to be desired. Then there’s the toxicity that surrounds this product. It’s rife with it!!!!

I found the Charmed Reboot an actual insult to the original. It’s a terrible interpretation of a cult classic. It really needs to be cancelled!
