What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the OWN cable channel, Cherish the Day is created and produced by Ava DuVernay. The show revolves around a different couple each season and each episode spans a single day. The first season stars Xosha Roquemore, Alano Miller, and Cicely Tyson, with Michael Beach, Anne-Marie Johnson, and Kellee Stewart in recurring roles. Gently James (Roquemore), a well-traveled caregiver from the West Adams district, and software engineer Evan Fisher (Miller) have a chance meeting and fall in love in Los Angeles.

I loved this show. I can’t wait to see season 2. I found a show that has purpose and meaning. Substance is oftentimes missing in most current shows this one has plenty.

IF THEY CAN CONTINUE TO SHOW UNREALISTIC/ UNBELIEVABLE CRIMINAL EVENTS OF EVERYDAY LIFE LIKE THE HAHN, IT MAKES ME WONDER WHO IS RUNNING THE SHOW. WHERE IS THE HEART OF HUMAN LIFE IN THE NETWORK? WE HAVE ENOUGH VIOLENCE IN THE WORLD TODAY! SHARE SOME LOVE!
I cannot believe good t v. Like this is in the verge of being cancelled, but, The Have and Have Not, is still running. Please bring back this show if possible. No disrespect to Tyler, whom I love, but this is soap opera trash.

I have never seen a love story such as this my emotions are highly simulated and I watch it over and over. It reminds me of my husband and I when we met as best friends which later turned into a relationship. I desperately need one more episode. I want to think that Evan follows her to San Francisco after falling deeper in love have a baby and remarry starting a new life together….
I would love to see Gently and Evan get back together and remarry and have a family and Ms. Luma have her a man and have a fresh start with a career. Ben gets married and have a legit business and have a family. And Marilyn Evan’s mom have a fresh start with Gently.
I enjoyed this series so much, it reminded me of a life I had when I was younger, I love the chemistry the young couple demonstrates. It gives you an inside look when you think you are talking to each but really not listening to each other. Please let it return
PLEASE PLEASE renew Cherish The Day for a second season. I am watching each episode over and over. Episode 1-8 left me wanting more. It showed me so much about people ,Love, patience, communication and etc.
