Can things get any hotter on the eighth season of the Chicago Fire TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Chicago Fire is cancelled or renewed for season nine. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the season eight episodes of Chicago Fire for us here. *Status update below.
An NBC action drama, Chicago Fire stars Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, Kara Killmer, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Annie Ilonzeh, Christian Stolte, and Joe Minoso. This series revolves around the personal and professional lives of the firefighters, rescue squad, and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51. Captain Matthew Casey (Spencer) leads the Truck Company, brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Kinney) runs the Rescue Squad, and Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) is the veteran chief of 51. The professionals risk their lives week in and week out to save and protect the citizens of the Windy City. The series also features crossovers with Chicago Med and Chicago PD.

*2/27/20 update: NBC has renewed Chicago Fire for three years — season nine (2020-21), season 10 (2021-22), and season 11 (2022-23).
Great show! Great actors! Great writers! Please keep them coming! I was glad when Gabby left the show – that story line was getting boring. I watch every week. Love the cross over events with the other two! Please renew!
I love chicago fire the story line is the best the action is amazing and the characters are the best for this story and there are like a family .I like how they take care of each other this show is the best please give us another season it is worth it .
Enjoy Chicago Fire every week. Would be very disappointing if NBC cancelled
Good show but again I feel characters have been on the show too long & there needs to be some changes. More personality to the show.
Funny you seem to say the same thing in most of your Post! There are shows going on 20 years that are still good not great but good. Med, Fire, PD are outstanding shows.
Love this show
Please RENEW Chicago MED & Chicago FIRE……they WORK & even WORK WELL TOGETHER…….that’s A BIG PLUS.
Michele

Wonderful show with a wonderful cast.
I love Chicago Fire, truthfully I Love all 3 Chicago shows. Chicago Fire generallyhas me on the edge of my seat. I’m going to miss Otis and I just cherish the emotions shown toward his death, real family.
Good episode last night. 10/23 Mix of heroics, and comedy.
Please don’t cancel any of the
Chicago Series (PD, FIRE, MED).
I don’t have any cable services but
I get to see some of my many shows
on HULU the next day after airing.
So please please please don’t cancel.
My favorite was the crossovers of
Part I Fire, II Med, III PD.

Thank you fan forever Maria Montero

I stay home EVERY Wednesday night specifically to see these 3 Chicago series !!!!! Best ever entertainment!!
Our entertainment is certainly TV. CBS Has the best shows for sure. I think all the shows are entertaining.
Then your Missing great shows. NBC messed up cancelling The Village! Fox has great shows not their news, their shows. CBS doesn’t have a great line up either way.
Love the show. The background music is overwhelming the actor’s dialog. Please lower the volume on background music. We can’t understand what is said.
I LOVE THIS SHOW……ITS THE BEST ON REGULAR TV………I WILL ALWAYS WATCH IT, NO MATTER WHAT……..
OTIS! Why?
I know! Talk about a sad tear jerker. I liked Otis. I would rather it had been Casey. But we never miss this one, either.
Otis didn’t have a story line. It was his time to go.
Wouldn’t want to see any regular gone. Losing Shay was wrong too.
