Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

Why does ever show I like get cancelled? I understand the ratings thing, but I work midnights and watch most of my shows on Showbox. Do they even consider that?

Don’t cancel this show yet. It keeps you interested in what is happening next. I always looked forward for the next weeks episode. I thought it was a refreshing change from reality and Dr shows. Please reconsider!!!!!!
Great show but then they always cancel them
This was a good show and it sucks that it is canceled after 1 season just like Deception. I find two shows that are good and of course the get canceled after the 1st season. Need to give shows a chance

I was telling a friend how good Season 1 was of The Crossing, and they told me it was canceled. I was so disappointed, I had to check it out for myself. Just like a comment I had read here said, it mentioned the same thing my friend said to me. “The Crossing looked like a really good show, but then I heard there won’t be a Season 2, I thought why bother watching it.” So there you have it. I was watching this show. I watch a lot of TV during the week and this show was doing just fine. How about cancelling some Marketing CEOs for not exiting people to watch this show? Why is it always the show’s fault. Didn’t executives cancelled Star Trek? It is still playing after all this years. Imagine if Star Trek had 10 seasons. Seinfeld was also cancel in season 1.
Networks cancelling shows all the time are going to cause people to not watch any show until they reach the 3rd season at least. This is ridiculous.
