Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

What a shame that ABC cancels yet another great show. The Crossing is excellent. ABC needs to understand that most people PVR and watch at a convenient time. Move with the times ABC! Hope done other station picks it up
Seriously great show. So tired of ABC. Do they not realize most people today PVR episodes? Very short sighted and thus is why people don’t invest their heir time in new series. Hope another station picks it up. Great show. Really enjoyed it
I really enjoyed this show…Why would it be cancelled? It seems like a lot of good shows have gotten cancelled just as they got going…This was a much more exciting show than so many of the other shows out there. (I.E. reality tv…) Really sorry to see ABC cancel The Crossing.

I am Very Disappointed. It was unique show that was had that had so much potential. I was surprised to see the ratings were so low and understand the business decision for canceling. I would have preferred that ABC change their marketing for the show which to be honest was a little cryptic.
ABC, you need to renew The Crossing, it will build!

The Crossing is awesome and there is so much story there. I can’t believe ABC let this show go. Ratings don’t show the real numbers. People have lives and not everyone can stay home and watch their favorite shows. We have to work to afford to be able to keep our lives going. So we record our shows and watch them later. The Crossing was great entertainment with a fresh storyline. What’s wrong with a series about hope, humanity and heroes? Apparently people would rather watch reality (which isn’t by the way) TV and ridiculous people on Bachelor and Bachelorette. It isn’t any wonder people prefer watching non-network TV. Shame on ABC for cancelling another good show.
I absolutely loved The Crossing and I would stop watching ABC if it’s canceled! It’s the only show worth watching on that network! Seriously how can they leave us hanging like that?!?!?! ABC get your act together! Your polls are wrong! Great show!
This show had promise thought well done …character Developement was bang on and kept you wanting to watch more…perhaps a different day to be aired would of helped…disappointing for sure…was there any unaided episodes? Bring this back or Amazon please pick this up!!
This show was so compelling – with all of the garbage in network tv, this was a breath of fresh air. Seems like ABC wants to contribute to the dumbing down of America. Hoping that another network or venue will pick this up. No wonder Netflix is kicking the networks butt, they are willing to give series a chance. What a shame.
