Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

Why would ABC cancel The Crossing?? My daughter and I love this show. It is one of the only shows we watch on network TV. Too soon to cancel!
My wife and I have really been enjoying the show. Just finished watching an episode and decided to check it out online, only to find out that ABC has cancelled it. What a shame! It was a great show and was just getting really interesting. No wonder major networks are seeing a drop in viewers. Every time they come up with something out of the ordinary, it gets cancelled. I’ve grown tired of the same old rehashed plot lines or those shows that push a particular political agenda. ABC has lost a few more viewers like us.
I loved this show, the acting and characters were terrific, and it got more and more exciting. Too soon to cancel it!!

Seems like people would rather watch those mindless sitcoms that keep getting renewed and shows with a good story line (The Crossing and Designated Survivor) get canned. Really disappointing.
Very good Show to BAD it was cancelled. Hope other network will take over and continue producing it.

NOOOO!!!! I am so sad that this is getting canceled! It was such a good show. I really hope that by some miracle this gets renewed for a second season.
And yet they continue to broadcast The Bachelor. I despise watching new shows because the good ones always get cancelled. The Crossing is good television as is Designated Survivor. So frustrating to get involved in a new show to have it cancelled.

My parents told my wife and I about this show and we are already starting to get addicted. It’s a shame it won’t be back for a second season. Seems like shows with out of the box storylines all hit some kind of thread or nerve and poof! they’re GONE. Maybe ABC needs to find a more suitable time slot for these types of shows because prime-time audiences have definitely spoken with positive feedback from what I’ve read recently. Please try again ABC…we’ll keep watching….And PLEASE No more detective shows!
watched a few, it was alright. I don’t watch it all the time, i don;t like it that much.
Really enjoyed this and designated survivor. Something different and interesting. Hope they don’t put another detective se! Too many of them. Need something different!!
