What strange things will happen in the first season of the Debris TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Debris is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Debris here. *Status Update Below.
An NBC science-fiction drama series, the Debris TV show stars Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz, and Scroobius Pip. The story begins as mysterious wreckage starts falling from the sky. A secretive international agency named Orbital is tasked with figuring out what the wreckage is, where it came from, and most importantly — what it can do. British MI6 operative Finola Jones (Steele) and American CIA agent Bryan Beneventi (Tucker) are partners but they have very different styles. However, they have no choice but to trust each other as they track down the debris scattered across the Western Hemisphere. Each fragment has unpredictable, powerful, and sometimes dangerous effects on the everyday people who find it. They must race against time as shadowy outside forces seek these objects for nefarious purposes.
What do you think? Which season one episodes of the Debris TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you think that Debris should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on NBC? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
*5/28/21 update: Debris has been cancelled so, there won’t be a second season on NBC.
I have really enjoyed the series Debris…it is very entertaining but makes you think about what is happening…not just a bunch of nonsensical dialog…Thank you for something actually intelligent!!!
I just started watching this series. Very intelligent science fiction…rare on television these days.
I really like this show. Hope the bigwigs at NBC renew this but I am not hopefull of this.
I think the issue was in the first few episodes, they began with the look of terrorism and that may have turned hard scifi people away thinking it was going to be more drama than scifi related. I almost counted them out but decided to stay with it and am so glad I did! It has gotten better every week!!!
Way too much whispering by characters. Makes it hard to understand what’s being said. Also the storyline is slow and convoluted.
I and My Husband Love this show. Please keep DeBris show on
I love this show. Keep it going and plan on many seasons. I haven’t been this captivated by a tv show in years
I love the new and different tv series called: Debris ☺
I love Debris. Please don’t cancel the show. There is not very many good science fiction shows on tv.
To me, the first episode was a little confusing. I have to watch a few more shows to give my vote! I’m waiting for Manifest and Evil (believe it’s CBS).
Hope it gets better. Leads need to pick it up.
No explanation as to what initially took place.
What initially took place is described in writing at the beginning of each episode. The episodes keep getting better and better. I am only sorry that I found this season so early. Now I will have to wait 1 week for the next episode. No binge watching like I was hoping for. Episode 5 March 29.
This show is falling flatter, and flatter with each consecutive episode. Nothing new and interesting. The lead male actor could not act his way out of a wet tissue. The first episode was the one that got me watching, but since then nothing exciting has happened. The storyline is dead. Won’t be watching anymore.
Can’t watch Fringe anymore hope this ends up as good? Will see
I can’t judge with just one episode, but the first episode was very good and intriguing, also liked the chemistry between the agents from different places. I hope it won’t end be like Manifest that, at least for me got boring.
I thought the same thing as Mindi. Weird but interesting. We almost deleted it but then when it progressed we kept it going. Wonder what’ll happen next week!
From the moment I saw the housekeeper fall through the floor after picking up the piece of debris I was intrigued. I find it interesting how similar the larger piece of the destroyed spaceship looks like the power source in “Taled from the Loop”. I like the dynamic that is emerging between the partners and look forward to what role Jones’ father has to do with the plot. Gives me the same sort of vibe I had when I first started with “Manifest”. Look forward to next week.
Weird but interesting. To early for my vote, but I’ll give it a chance.
