As we reported earlier, Netflix has cancelled Disjointed. Now, the cast and crew are sharing their thoughts on the TV series’ cancellation.
From Chuck Lorre, the comedy centers on Ruth (Kathy Bates), the proud proprietor of a Los Angeles-area marijuana dispensary. The cast also includes Dougie Baldwin, Elizabeth Ho, Chris Redd, Tone Bell, Aaron Moten, Elizabeth Alderfer, Betsy Sodero, Nicole Sullivan, Michael Trucco, and Mae Harrington.
On social media, Disjointed star Michael Trucco as well as showrunner David Javerbaum and producers Ron Hart and John D. Beck shared their thoughts on the Netflix series’ cancellation.

This is the funniest tv show since Seinfeld. Combine cheech and chong with WKRP always n Cincinnati. I’m 67 years old and I laughed my ass off at times. Great great show.
I think it is dumb to cancel a show simply because you think kids will be affected by it, kids will be more affected by bullying and killings in schools then by a show… you claim kids smoke because of cartoons, billboards and shows, that’s a ridiculous thought, kids smoke for the same reason they drink and have sex, it’s called life, taking shows off the air will never change this and again if you want to Protect your kids- stop sending them ago a Butcher shop you call school.

I cant believe they are going to cancel after two seasons! Especially leaving it the way they did I want to see what happens with ruth and Wallie, tea kwon Doug and Maria, you all know you saw the sparks between them last episode! At the same time it was canceled after season 1 do maybe we will get lucky and have a season 3! Please!?
I really want this show to come back. I know alot of people who like it. It needs to come back it was a great way to look at potband the cast is just awesome. Bring it back pleasr Netflix.
I am so upset to learn of Disjointed being cancelled! My sister and I were living together for two years and we bonded over smoking weed and laughing our asses off to this show. So so heartbroken!!! I love you Tae Kwon Doug and Pete and RUTH and DANK and DABBY!
What a shame a ground breaking show like this gets cancelled. Just think if season 3 would have opened with Ruth coming back with fun Wally healed or better. What a fantastic difference it might have made.

Please bring back the show this is one of the best shows that I’ve seen that represents what we want to do medically and recreationally the acting was phenomenal with Dank and dabby. takes great actors, comedian, and great writers to make a great show like this. PLEASE bring this show back I just couldn’t imagine it only ending at 20 episodes and this is how you left the fans hanging with no goodbye.
