TV show description:
This dramedy TV series revolves around a middle-aged woman who begins to reassess her life after more than a decade of marriage while raising two children. She finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought.
As the story begins, we meet Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert (Thomas Haden Church). They’re a middle-aged couple who live in Westchester County, NY. After a shocking event at the 50th birthday party of Frances’ high-strung friend, Diane (Molly Shannon), the couple starts taking a hard look at their own lives and tries to figure out if their marriage is worth saving.
Other characters include Nick (Tracy Letts), Diane’s successful husband; Dallas (Talia Balsam), Frances’ close friend who has been both widowed and divorced; and Frances’ and Robert’s children, Lila (Sterling Jerins) and Tom (Charlie Kilgore).
