Here are the ratings for the Fringe TV series. The FBI’s “Fringe Division” team (Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble) continues to use unorthodox science to investigate unexplained occurrences related to a parallel universe. The fourth season of Fringe typically airs Friday nights at 9pm on the FOX network.
These are the TV show’s ratings for the 2011-12 season, the best way to tell if Fringe will be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season. Check out our FOX ratings report card to see how this show’s numbers compare with the others on the network.

The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Fringe TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a fifth season?

Love Fringe! The problem with fringe is that it’s the kind of show where you have to watch from the beginning, starting in the middle will be a little confusing for the viewer. If Fox cancel’s fringe i would have a hard time watching fox shows, even though they’re are a few i like, they already cancelled one of my other favorite show, Lie to Me.
I love “Fringe”! The storyline and characters (as well as the actors themselves) are constantly impressive! It’s a J.J. Abrahms show – it just couldn’t be bad! How is it that the the network execs can’t seem to get the fact that the ratings system is fatally flawed?! I have lost my drive and the excitement of looking forward to any new shows -the good ones always get cancelled! If anyone at Fox reads this, I say – allow many more seasons of “Fringe” if you really want to keep the public happy (and keep them buying from your sponsors)!
Please tell me why you moved a great show to Friday night(instant death)!
I don’t think anybody stays in that night. Should of kept it Wed nights it’s one of the worst nights of program other than Criminal minds. This show rocks! Get a clue you keep crappy shows and drop the good ones!
Put it back to Wed and watch the ratings climb!
I will have you know, the October 7 episode won its timeslot with 18-34 year olds.
I cannot believe more people do not watch this brilliant show!?!?!? Of course, it didn’t help that Fox put it on opposite Supernatural (WTF?) which shares a lot of the same audience.
Finally a show worth watching, nothing like it on TV, different, intelligent…and unlike most of the shows high in the OVERUSED rating system… THE OTHER “N” WORD… this show is not STUPID…….I am so sick of the crap on TV that stays on….
I am a bit surprised by the low premiere numbers. With the ending they had last season, I expected people to tune in to see what would happen. I would be curious to know what sci-fi fans are doing on Friday nights so that they are not watching Fringe?
Love the show. It is so clever on many levels. It would be so sad for it to end, it is a rare show. I love being entertained & made to think at the same time. They make it so fun for us fans. Looking for slight changes & clues in each episode.
GreatShow KEEP IT
I think that the world is in desperate need of a new ratings system if they think people are not watching this show. I think that the show has gone in a wonderfully interesting direction. People talk about it all over the place, so I am guessing that they must be watching if they have so much to say about the show.
Nelson Ratings mean absotively nothing- I’ve only participated in them once and I never did again, because I just could not see how any of the things I was asked to do had any bearing on the shows I watch. As I am usually busy the nights they broadcast the shows I am interested in… I usually either Hulu the eps or just plain download them from a torrent website. Also, the shows I watch overlap sometimes being three shows I watch broadcast at the same time. So I say screw the neilson rantings, they are worthless- The networks really… Read more »
If Fringe got cancelled i would absolutely have to boycott FOX 4EVER. Best show on television. Best story best acting best everything!!!! I really do think they should change the timeslot and day though . . . who watches tv on a friday night?
This is a show worth watching, though I realize not many will get it. One of a rare few shows that encourages the mind to think about how it can happen. Not everything is likely to happen, thankfully, but there is some shred of scientific possibility to everything. I watch it and then watch it again for what I missed.
At the rate the networks cancel the shows that engage the mind, there won’t be anything left but PBS to watch and even then those are limited.
Love Fringe, absolutely KEEP IT going, 5th, 6th 7th season and beyond!
I do not “Like” Fringe I absolutely LOVE it! I really do not understand those ratings, why oh why do people wanna watch CSI or the X-Factor or something like that and really ignore a show such as Fringe. This is really beyond me. I’ve made my peace that this season will be it’s last, it already was a wonder it got renewed for season 4. I only hope they give it a good ending.
