God Friended Me was recently cancelled by CBS, and now the cast is reacting to the move by the network. Brandon Michael Hall, Violett Beane and others on the cast spoke about the series ending on social media.
Per TV Line, Hall revealed the following about the cancellation of God Friended Me:
“There’s something to be said for an artist to be able to wake up every single day and work with a group of people who you can honestly call your family. The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to… work with them [every day].”

This is sad. One of the most positive shows on TV. I hope another network picks up this great inspiring show.
I have been leaving comments on several boards. I think the low ratings for the show are because of the coronavirus news blocking out peoples interests. If the producers of another network want a money maker…I sure hope they pick up God Friended Me. This show covers many of the worlds religions and atheism. Ha! I hope Miles converts!
I quit CBS!!! They always do away with the good shows.

I’m very upset God friended me has been cancelled. I loved this show. One of the very few shows I watch on CBS.
So sad this is canceled . I loved the positivity and good messages this show had. I hope another network picks it up. I loved that it was a show I could watch with my 13 yr old. How can you cancel after only two seasons. Network needs to give it a chance .

This is the best show on TV. My favorite. Can’t believe it was cancelled. Heaven forbid there would ever be a show on television with a positive message and not filled with trash and people doing evil things. Soon there will be nothing left for decent people to watch. It’s very sad!

It was a fun feel good show, and it was nice to have God brought up and see people working through bad things, giving second chances and reaching out. I am very sad it is ending.

I looked forward to Sunday night just to be able to see God Friended Me. Never has a show uplifted me so much. It saddens me to know such an inspiring show is going away. Thank you to all the cast members who touched my heart every Sunday.
A very enjoyable show with an interesting topic. CBS should reconsider.
