What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the EPIX cable channel, the Godfather of Harlem TV show stars Forest Whitaker, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ilfenesh Hadera, Nigél Thatch, Giancarlo Esposito, Lucy Fry, Rafi Gavron, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Erik LaRay Harvey, and Demi Singleton. The series is inspired by the story of infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson (Whitaker) who returned from 10 years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. With the streets controlled by the Italian mob, Johnson must take on the Genovese crime family to regain control. With an ambitious plan in season two, Johnson battles the New York Crime Families for control of the lucrative and murderous “French Connection” heroin pipeline. This pits him against not only the Italians and the law but also friends and family.
Godfather of Harlem has been renewed for a third season which will debut on January 15, 2023. Stay tuned for further updates.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether EPIX will cancel or renew Godfather of Harlem for season three. Considering that this is one of the channel’s most high-profile series, I think that it will be renewed. If they cancel The godfather of Harlem I will cancel my epic subscription
If they cancel season three I will cancel epic is that the only reason why I got involved with epic so once again that’s the only reason why I got it in the first place as I already have premium channels and I added EPOCH to my lineup just because the godfather of Harlem is on and it is one of the popular programs or series so I would think they will renew it anyways just in case they aware no if and or is about it I will cancel them out off my cable bill if they cancel season… Read more »

Godfather of Harlem is the best series that Ive seen in quite a while. I hope that there will ne many more seasons and episodes, though I know that Bumpy dies in the 60’s, I hope that they make a related series kf Bumpys life before he was released from Alcatraz, from when he was a child and left the south to live with his sister in Harlem, and he made money protected store owners in Harlem, then started working for Mrs. St. Claire.
