Goliath fans are wondering if they will see a fourth season of the series, which stars Billy Bob Thornton as Billy McBride. The end of season three saw his character in a bad spot, and some might think there is no way for the show continue with that ending.

Season three ended with Thornton’s character shot and left for dead. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said the event was both a ‘death and a birth’ for his character. Amy Brenneman, Dennis Quaid, and Beau Bridges were all new additions for season three.
As for the future of the Prime Video series, Thornton said the following about the potential future of Goliath:
“If they’re inclined to do another season, I think I would be inclined to. I think they would be because it’s been a successful show for them. So if we can figure out a way to get me back out there, it could happen.”

Sorry, but I think it’s turned into crap and I hope it just goes away. I’d like to see some of the actors go on to bigger and MUCH better things.
I’m not sure why but seasons 2 and 3 definitely took a dive from the terrific storytelling and filmmaking of season 1. Maybe they we’re worried they can’t keep people’s attention with a good story and add in a bunch of filler that doesn’t help the story? Certainly Billy Bob and the other actors involved are capable of delivering compelling characters. Why just prepare/write for a fourth season? I think we should go for ten seasons! Nothing wrong with a show such as “Goliath” that fights for the underdog! Besides, Billy Bob Thornton is worth every penny! Yum!
OMG! McBride has made a comeback through addiction, abandonment, heartbreak, betrayal, fraud, perfidy etc., etc., etc. so what’s a shotgun blast to the back for him? David E. Kelley + Jonathan Shapiro ~ PLEASE find a way to pick this character up out of the rain soaked ground and redeem him once again for a SEASON FOUR!
I think the show should come back for a couple more seasons

Billy Bob Thorton is a great actor and I would love to see a season 4 and beyond. It’s the only show I consciencly wait for year in and out to binge watch. #KeepBillyAlive #Goliath
