The alphabet network is checking out of Grand Hotel. ABC has cancelled the summer soapy drama series so there won’t be a second season.
Executive-produced by Eva Longoria, Grand Hotel stars Demián Bichir, Roselyn Sánchez, Denyse Tontz, Bryan Craig, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Youne, Shalim Ortiz, Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno. The primetime soap centers on the Riviera Grand, the last family-owned hotel in Miami Beach, owner Santiago Mendoza (Bichir), and his family. Beneath the veneer of luxury, lurk sinful scandals, financial foibles, and deep, dark secrets.
The first season of Grand Hotel averaged just a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.72 million viewers. Of ABC’s 14 summer series, Grand Hotel ranked in 10th place, both in the demo and viewership.
Grand Hotel ran for one season of 13 episodes. The de facto series finale aired on September 9th.

I enjoyed watching we would get the old girls together for show and want to find out what happen. This is wrong canceling without giving it at least to end The Who done it answer , I hope another station picks it up or Netflix so at least we find out what happens
It was good and would watch another season as the ending was open to many options for the future. I enjoyed it.
I really liked the show and found it very entertaining. There are numerous other shows I can do without!
Grand Hotel was an interesting, enjoyable show. Congratulations to the cast for your fine performances. Hopefully Netflix will show interest in continuing the series.

this was one of the more interesting ‘summer replacements’ of ALL the summer replacements. SUCKS that ABC didn’t give it another season. sure would like to see a non-traditional channel pick it up and continue it. some GREAT writing and producing. typical of the ‘big 3-ABC, CBS, and NBC. which is why more and more of us are going to FX, USA etc.

I absolutely loved it me and my family and especially the cliff hanger at the end everyone u know is dying for season 2 very foolish to give up on a show that fast abc it should have never been canceled fantastic show and cast I hope another network is smart enough to pick it up we need more the fans and viewers love grand hotel
