Greenleaf is returning for its fifth and final season later this month, and the season now has a trailer for this season available. The cast of the series includes Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, Rick Fox, Beau Bridges, and Oprah Winfrey.
Fans will see more from the world of Greenleaf on OWN. A spin-off series is in the works. Details about the spin-off were not revealed.

i loved greenleaf, why do you always take the good shows off, if it is not getting the ratings, its because it take so long to come back on, you forget what the hell you were watching

Greenleaf and Queen Sugar are two of the best shows ever shown on TV. I would be a mistake to can el or discontinue either of these. Maybe with different day or time so it is not in competition with some of the other popular series everyone could watch all their favorite shows and they ratings would not drop.

I love Greenleaf. I wish that we could have more seasons. If viewership dropped its only because of the extra long waits between seasons. The ratings drop had noting to do with quality or desirability of the show. We just need more seasons, episodes and for the new seasons to return sooner.
Please do not cancel Greenleaf, I have really enjoyed this show.

OWN, has canceled several shows in the past few years. Going more toward discussion groups or more serious entertainment.
I’ve always looked forward to light, humorous and drama shows. E.g. Tyler Perry’s series.
