The sun shines in Shondaland! Although it’s not yet up on the press site, ABC has renewed its Grey’s Anatomy TV show for a 14th season.
A long-running Shonda Rhimes drama, Grey’s Anatomy stars Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr., Kevin McKidd, Jessica Capshaw, Sarah Drew, Jesse Williams, Jason George, Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington, Jerrica Hinton, Kelly McCreary, Giacomo Gianniotti, and Martin Henderson.
Today, ABC also gave early renewals to Shondaland’s other TGIT shows, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.
Grey’s Anatomy Renewed For Season 14 on ABC

“Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder continue to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and wanting more, said ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey. “I’m thrilled to bring back these shows and the OMG moments that come with them.”
Since the block’s January return in its full lineup after Scandal had to sit out the fall because of Washington’s pregnancy, ABC has won every Thursday among Adults 18-49. All three dramas hail from Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers’ Shondaland and ABC Studios. Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal were created by Rhimes who oversees both series; HTGAWM was created and is run by Pete Nowalk.
In its 13th season, Grey’s Anatomy continues to defy its age, ranking as ABC’s No. 1 show among Adults 18-49 and the No. 3 broadcast drama overall. Its midseason return on Jan. 26 was the show’s most watched telecast in two and a half years and highest rated in 18-49 in year and a half. Scandal opened its sixth season with its biggest audience and best 18-49 rating in a year. Like Grey’s, Murder, which had been hit by the weak lead-in from Notorious in the fall, also came back to its midseason return with new season highs. The drama is among the biggest gainers on TV this season in the Live + 7 Day ratings, more than doubling (+117%) its Live + Same Day Adult 18-49 number.

Never cancel please. I have been with the show since season one and I have re-watched and re-watched every episode from every season. I want to be a doctor when I’m older so I love watching medical shows they are so amazing, especially this one.

I luv this show I have been watching this show since season 1 and I want it to cont as long as possiable, I even re watch it over and over from season 1-12 on Netflix. This show is addicted. I luv this show it shows facts of medical and personal issue and relationship problems that every one has dealt with.

You would be STUPID to cancel this show! It is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and has been since day one. If the numbers remain up, run this show until there’s no longer interest. I love, love, LOVE this show. There will truly be something missing once it is over. But for now, let’s keep it alive for as long as possible!!!!
I love grey’s anatomy even when I don’t have the time to watch it in ABC I find the ways to still watch it in hulu or other apps. Please don’t take it off the air. I am not a TV person but when it comes to watch grey’s anatomy I do exception. I am keeping up with the episodes I just can wait to watch season 14
I love this show. Please don’t take it off the air. It has everything, suspense, drama, love, relationships, comedy. I would be very disappointed if it was taken off the air. Please keep renewing it season after season.

Please don’t ever end this show! I understand that actors want to move on and try new things, but a small part of me wants this to be another Days of Our Lives show where it runs for decades! This is an epic show and I absolutely love it to its core.
I don’t know what I would do with myself if Grey’s ended. The suspense that season 13 ended with will keep me on my toes till season 14 comes out! Please keep Grey’s running!!

I will ALWAYS watch every episode no matter how long it runs! It’s awesome and every new episode is as exciting as the last… Thank you for Grey’s Anatomy, I LOVE IT!!!!

I love greys anatomy I’ve watched every single episode however, I think that every good show must end someday. I wouldn’t be mad it season 14 was the last.
