What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, The Last Man on Earth follows Phil Tandy Miller (Will Forte). In the year 2020, after a lethal virus sweeps the earth, this average guy originally believes he is humanity’s last hope. Eventually, he comes into contact with other survivors. Among them are his wife, optimistic grammar aficionado Carol Pilbasian (Kristen Schaal). Her goal is to repopulate the planet. Phil also meets up with the stern Melissa Chartres (January Jones), cheerful Todd (Mel Rodriguez), southern wino Gail (Mary Steenburgen), and Aussie Erica (Cleopatra Coleman).
Season Three Ratings
The third season of The Last Man on Earth averaged a 0.89 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.12 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 23% in the demo and down by 23% in terms of average total viewers. Learn how The Last Man on Earth stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
With low ratings, The Last Man on Earth has been ripe for the picking for quite awhile but, year after year, it’s escaped my grasp. The numbers have dropped again this year. At the end of this season, the Last Man on Earth series will have 49 episodes and that’s not enough for much of a syndication package. My suspicion is that FOX will renew this show for a fourth season but they could easily cancel it if they feel they have better new comedies in the pipeline.

Why can”t we just be happy?
This show has to be renewed, there was only one poor episode and that didn’t have the regular cast in it. What a funny and easygoing show. I look forward to watching it over and over.

I really really hope it gets renewed. Season 3 was much better than 1 & 2. Love all the cliff hangers at the end of the episodes.

My family loves Last Man, the humor and heart written into it are palpable. If it were not to continue I would love to follow it as a book series.

This is one of our favorite shows ! We wish the seasons were longer . We look forward to it every week it is on. It seems like they cancel all of the good shows and only show crap!!
i like the show last man on earth my husband,son and i watch it every sunday and can’t til for the next show to see what happens it’s so stupid it’s funny everyone on the show plays a good part!!! DON’T CANCEL
I hate it when a show ends on a cliff hanger. I love the show and I really hope it doesn’t get cancelled.
to cancel this show would be such a huge dissapointment to many people, the last man on earth, in my eyes, is (and hopefully will be for long) one of the best comedies with amazing actors. just give it a chance and i believe that the ratings will rise up and up
Really want to see it more with more episodes each season! Would really be disappointed if the unique story doesn’t continue. Has less violence and less dark world base of story is why I prefer this story.
