What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Last Man Standing follows straight-talker Mike Baxter (Tim Allen), a man surrounded by women. While this sporting goods store marketing guy is blessed with common sense, Mike is a little low on what some call political correctness and others call manners. Also starring are Nancy Travis as Mike’s wife, Vanessa; Molly Ephraim as daughter Mandy; Kaitlyn Dever as daughter Eve; Amanda Fuller as daughter Kristin; Jordan Masterson as Kristen’s beau, Ryan; Flynn Morrison as grandson Boyd; Jonathan Adams as neighbor Chuck Larabee; Christoph Sanders as co-worker Kyle Anderson; and Hector Elizondo as bossman Ed Alzate.
Season Six Ratings
The sixth season of Last Man Standing averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.41 million viewers. Compared to the fifth season, that’s down by 5% in the demo and down by 5% in total viewers. Learn how Last Man Standing stacks up against the other ABC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Last Man Standing is still performing solidly for ABC. In addition, the sitcom does well in syndication. In first run, Last Man Standing typically wins its Friday night timeslot in the coveted 18-49 year old viewer demographic. The comedy series has also been outperforming the sophomore season of Dr. Ken, for which it serves as lead-in. It seems likely ABC will renew Last Man Standing for a seventh season, as long as the cast is willing and production costs are affordable.

Why is this show on ABC’s chopping block. It is funny and relevant! ABC need to rethink this decision!!! There aren’t too many shows you can watch with your children and they axing one of the few!!!!!!
This is the ONLY show I regularly watch on ABC. Most network shows are pure garbage, this is one I enjoy and can identify with. I will be watching LMS reruns before I watch any of ABC’s “other” drivel.
After a week at work I look forward to watching this show on Friday evening. It’s funny and down to earth. I love the way Tim Allen tells it like it is. If it is the case that this show was cancelled because of political views and statements then I can name a few other shows that need to get the axe. What is fair for one is fair for all! Maybe someone at ABC doesn’t like Tim’s point of view? Maybe I won’t like ABC.
You finally have a great tv show and now you want to cancel it. Why, doesen’t it fit your way of thinking. Cancel the show and there is a dozen families in my relation that will not watch abc again!!!
I love Last Man Standing, it’s one of the funniest shows on television. I heard it’s being cancelled because of Tim Allens political views but whatever happened to Freedom Of Speech? They also joke about California, I’m a Californian and I don’t take offense! I love Tim Allen so I really hope they don’t cancel. We all need a good laugh and this show makes us laugh. Only close minded people fail to see the humor.

Pretty much the best show on tv. Shows more than one view on current issue. Done with class, taste and common sense. Rare commodities on tv.
Please bring Last Man Standing back. Stop this madness of trying to control the masses with “pc” in mind. Let people think for themselves.
