Last year, in Last Man Standing’s first season on FOX, the sitcom got off to a very strong start but the ratings dwindled as the season progressed. Some would argue that cast changes were the cause of the decline. Will the numbers continue to fall in season eight or, will they bounce back? Will Last Man Standing be cancelled or renewed for season nine? Stay tuned.
Airing on the FOX television network, Last Man Standing stars Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Molly McCook, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams, and Krista Marie Yu. Guest stars include Kaitlyn Dever, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Jay Leno, Terry Bradshaw, Susan Sullivan, Tisha Campbell, and Bill Engvall. The series revolves around Mike Baxter (Allen), the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores and a “man’s man”. His family doesn’t see eye-to-eye with him so it can sometimes be a little tough for Mike to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man.

I do not like the nrw Mandy she is a bad actress, also Jenl they added does nothing for the show please bring back all the old actresses I loved the show then.its the only reason I’ll keep watching I watch all the reruns because I like all the actresses from last year. Thank You
I love this show. The humour is top notch and very clever while teaching something that is lost in this day and age, morals and strong family values even when family members don’t always share the same political views or agree on how to raise a family due to differing family values. They still love one another, respect one another even through their disagreements. The new Mandy is terrible, she over acts her part and it is hard to watch her. The new character who plays Chuck’s wife is always angry and it just ruining a great show. I love Last Man Standing and would love for it to continue for years.
I prefer the original actress who played Carol as well even though I do like the actress who plays her now in general. She’s miscast though.
Please keep Last Man Standing on Fox! I agree with a lot of the other comments about the changes in characters and the writing not being as witty and sharp as it previously was, but I’ve become very attached to this show and look forward to watching it every week. Still the best sitcom in production on TV today!!!
LMS is my favorite show!!! Every episode Makes me laugh out loud , we need this show on daily to enjoy before bedtime

Absolutely LOVE the show. Honestly, I am not crazy about Jen the foreign exchange student. She does not fit the format. Get rid of her character. I am getting used to the new Mandy. Love everything else. No Jen.

My husband and I were just talking about this. We miss the original Mandy a lot. The new one is just too different in looks and even height to even think she is supposed to be the same person. We also miss Eve and wish she could also come back. We do not like the exchange student either she adds nothing for our tastes. We just really love the original premise of the show, we used to laugh all the time. Even Kyles character seems different. I wondered about the Carol character as well. Bring Mandy and Eve back!!

Great, show, funny, hilarious great content, needs to be renewed, would like to see more of caitlin Devers though. The best realistic sitcom on tv today
I too wonder if it’s the timing or the writers but something is off. The exchange student overplays her character which cheapens the content too. Not a fan of that addition. The rest of the cast and guest stars have the chops for an amazing run. Fewer scenes with Jen and go for it with the older crowd. And for goodness sakes, Kyle needs better hair. Maybe not the same but this look incongruous to the character. C’mon Fox! You can do this
It’s been disappointing with the new actress playing the part of the middle daughter “Mandy”. The original actress really did a great job. She really grew into that role and pretty much owned the part. I do realize that this wasn’t the first time there have been actress changes in the show. I think that when the older daughter’s role “Kristen” was replaced by someone new, it worked.
