Although the Lucifer TV show has been cancelled by FOX, and The CW isn’t picking it up, there’s still more devilish charm coming to a TV near you. FOX has announced it is airing a two-hour “bonus” episode of Lucifer, season three, on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm ET/PT. Check out the description for “Boo Normal” and “Once Upon a Time,” below. This isn’t the first time there have been “stray” episodes of the procedural. The production found itself in a somewhat similar position at the end of season two, with the main difference being it had already been renewed for another season.
A FOX comedy-drama, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural TV series centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases. Neil Gaiman narrates the bonus installment as the voice of God.
Here’s the FOX press release, with the guest stars and all the details.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Lucifer TV series? If it were up to you, would FOX have cancelled or renewed this TV show for season four.
I hated the May 28th one. Wanted to see them get together. especially since it was ending.
No longer am I interested following TV series- since as of late -many have been canceled. Unfortunately ROI short term results dictate long term potential success.
Plus lately – the writers all seem to follow the same guidelines. Notice how eventually everyone ends up having an affair – ridiculous
The two bonus shows tonight were very very good! #SaveLucifer #PickupLucifer I bet lots and lots of people watched tonight which will prove it should NOT Be Cancelled!!!
Of tonight’s shows, “Once Upon a Time,” was the best!! The plot twists, with all the main characters taking on new rolls, were believable and definitely a fresh idea. The rolls were edgier tonight yet more down to earth and would be a great beginning for the fall season. I am 63 years old, and enjoy the innuendos, Maze with her seductive evilness, Lucifer showing he’s only out for the right person to be punished persona who sings fantastically, Dan and Charlotte driving off into the sunset with stolen Lucifer money-too good, our deeply sensitive Linda wondering ratings or what’s… Read more »
Really sad to see Lucifer show being closed… Meanwhile horrible shows have been renewed. Everyone I know was a fan of Lucifer guess we just aren’t part of the demographic that is tracked
I’m sorry to see this show go, especially as the last two episodes harkened back to what made me watch it in the first place… dark humor combined with some real drama and supernatural emotion, as it were, along with elements of magic. If it had held to this I think it may have continued. Or perhaps it’s alll politics in the network. All I know is I’m truly sorry to see it go. I love Neil Gaiman’s work, have read all his books, loved the series “American Gods.” I guess the American public just isn’t ready for his high… Read more »
Is there any chance that a another network might be interested in picking up the show? I have really enjoyed it
please bring lucifer back y wife and I love the show if it must be cancelled at least tie up all the loose ends its not fair to all the fans who watch to be left wondering that way we fans were loyal to the show be kind and be loyal to the fans and at least end it with everything wrapped up
great show , love it down under here bring it back NOW
Thank you who ever got this to happen, i don’t know if this was there intention in the first place to show two more episodes just to see what reaction they would get from the viewers . Maybe now we will get a final end to the story of Lucifer. Please who ever you are who make decisions to cancel shows at least put some sort of ending to them, you must know well before the season comes to an end, so tell the writers end the story with some sort of ending. I hope someone will take up this… Read more »
My guess is the DC universe streaming service picks up Lucifer since it has a big fanbase and it gives them a BIG show to launch with in 2019.
Either way the Bonus episodes are nice……Neil Geilman playing god should 1000% be who they cast as his voice for whenever they do the character in a non alternate dimension thing.
Why were these episodes being held back?
But are these a continuation of the series finale? Or just stray episodes?
Stray episodes.
Thanks. I wish it were 2 episodes instead to finish the story
this really belongs on the CW on the same night as Supernatural.
Wahoo!!!!!!!!!, Please some network pick up this excellent series
