What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases. Now with his mother (Helfer) taken care of, in season three, Lucifer wants to figure out who kidnapped him and why his angel wings have returned. He also has to deal with a new rival for Chloe’s attention, Lieutenant Marcus Pierce (Welling), who, unlike Lucifer, is strategic, reserved, and well-respected.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Lucifer averaged a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 20% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Lucifer stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.
Lucifer was cancelled by FOX, but was later picked up for season four by Netflix. Season four debuts May 8, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with okay numbers, the ratings for Lucifer are even lower than last year’s (and those weren’t very good). I suspect it will be back for a fourth season but it could easily be cancelled due to the low ratings. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Great show–renew for season 4
As a loyal Lucifer fan,I do not appreciate you not ending the series with an appropriate finality.The last episodes aired was not related to the last previous episode.They made no sense an was highly disappointing.If not the worst,it’s one of the worst finales ever made.As loyal fans, I think we deserved so much better.

I absolutely love this show. And Decker finally sees his devil face and then it comes out the show is cancelled. WTF. Bring it back at least for one season and give fans the ending they deserve.
They should make a small 10 -12 episode season. And pack it with good stories
This is one show that got me back in to watching TV and now they cancelled it I love the show so don’t get rid of it Lucifer makes me laugh again, science my husband’s death I haven’t watched any TV shows and my sister asked me to watch this show when it first came out and I’ve been watching it ever since that day it’s on and if they cancel it thier goes to watching for me it had a little of everything drama supernatural and comedy I really enjoyed it I wanted to let the cast know that… Read more »

i love this show so they will probably cancel it which is the way fox does evry single time first of all i wish fox would quit getting the good shows because they are not reliable enough to keep them around and its pissing me off secondly i think the next time they come out with a show im not even going to start watching it that way i dont have to get my heart broke LEAVE LUCIFER ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for christ sakes listen to the fans theres a million ways to go with this show it’s far from dead
Fox is notorious for cancelling good shows….Maybe CW or Netflix will pick it up…..Its a real shame….Fox ought to feel ashame of themselves
