TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Renew…I Love the show….Nothing wrong with the show
Please Renew this!
Since FOX has just announced the renewal of Gotham why don’t they just renew Lucifer as well? Lucifer is an extremely well written show with great acting, dialogue, development of characters. We are watching Lucifer’s emotional and character development and his struggles to deal with his emotions and live in the human world. One of the great things about this show is that we, the audience can enjoy the dark humour, identify with the themes, story lines, identify and sympathise with the characters themselves, etc. The show works on so many levels. Kudos to the writers who have made Lucifer… Read more »
Please keep Lucifer Both my husband and I love the show. Love everything about the show…Keep it please.
Renew !
love it
Good fun with lots of room for development and interesting angles (angels)
entertained by the good being done by bad and the bad being done by good
I agree.
Please renew. It is totally different concept. Love it
Lucifer is one of the best TV shows to air in a long time – it is the only show I watch at the time it airs. Love all the characters – each brings a unique perspective to the show. Dr. Linda is hilarious! I watched the first few episodes before learning the connection with Neil G. Each episode is pure entertainment! Thank you and I hope FOX keeps Lucifer in Los Angeles for many seasons to come…..
Apparently Neil G is quite happy with what the writers and producers of the show have done with Lucifer.
Most definitely should be renewed! Story line is great, and chemistry among actors is palpable. One of my favorite shows.
One of the most refreshingly unique and original shows currently on tv. Very intriguing and addictive. Love how Lucifer is developing all these layers in his complex personality. Brilliant! Great acting! Keep this great show…I beg of you.
When the series is finished for this season many of us will be going into Lucifer withdrawal. I think it was a great idea to make Lucifer a complex personality and yet keep his basic nature of pride and arrogance.
One of the best new series…..pul-eze don’t cancel!!
This show is fantastic. Witty well written and psychologically interesting as he goes through the various stages of childhood emotional development. Interesting and fun plot. Full of puns. Hot actor. Completely unique and thought-provoking about humanity and even religion. Blurs the lines between good and evil. Totally shocking that there are ending it please don’t !
Apparently the last episode is open ended in that if it not renewed the audience will get some closure and if it is renewed there are the possibilities of future story lines.
Please keep this show. Love it!
Lucifer is a refreshingly new take on what could have been a real “horror “show! Of course, it helps with great acting ability by all involved. A definite keeper.
