TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Please renew Lucifer. It is one of my favorite shows. One of the most entertaining shows on tv. The cast is great. Look forward to seeing it every
week. Again please do not cancel it!!!
No it should not have been cancelled. It some bad episodes, but it when Lucifer took it down a notch and got a little more serious the show was much better I think it should be renewed
PLEASE PLEASE KEEP Lucifer for a 4th season!! This is mine and my husbands favorite show on tv!! We love Lucifer and his personality!! Really makes us laugh and want more. Please don’t cancel it!!!
I can’t believe Lucifer was cancelled! and so abruptly!! The story line didn’t come to an end! I loved this show and am so disappointed!!
Please someone bring Lucifer back. Best series I have been addicted to in a long time, other than Big Bang Theory, and The Middle. Awesome actors!!! Great stories!!! Please even another network!!!
This show has had its ups and downs but to cancel right now when the show finally gets to the point of the whole series finally coming to some kind of resolution seems misguided in the extreme. Whoever made the decision to cancel right now suggests that person needs to heading in only one direction at the appropriate time and it isn’t up! The series has been mostly well acted and had enough interest that one more season to close things out seems like the right thing to do…either that or a two hour movie!
Lucifer is a great show with humor and suspense that makes me keep wanting to see the next one. I can’t imagine why you would want to cancel this show.
Please keep Lucifer on. One of the most unique show’s on tv now. I think to many great tv shows are being cancelled and I know many people who love this show but may not go out to rate it.
I agree. I love this show so much!!! We need to keep voting!!!
Please put Lucifer back on, it is a unique show and there is no other like it. The Lucifer is a very charismatic character, and we love him. am speaking for my family of 5.
Please add season 4. It is such a light hearted and entertaining love story of redemption. It is such a relief to have something good to watch on television.
We need to keep replying and keep voting.
Please renew!! Their are not too many TV showes anything like Lucifer!! We Love it!!
I honestly think LUCIFER should be renewed because too many viewers are demanding to see the 4th season like I am.
It’s a disgrace that other people take a show off just like that after 3 seasons, and let it go. Please renew LUCIFER, it’s different than any other TV show even though it’s a crime drama. It has its quirks but it’s also worth watching because of what Tom Ellis brings to it.
I agree. All the actors are awesome. Stories are great. Sceneries are great. Love the shoe!!!
Loved the show! It was different and always something new. It really made you think. Loved the characters. Stunned it was cancelled. Hopefully another network will pick it up.
I have enjoyed Lucifer very much! The premise of possible redemption for Lucifer, references to his “Father” [God], the ingenious plot twists with Amenadial, the psychiatrist Linda, Cain’s deserved failure, and innocent Chloe work to create Lucifer’s inner conflicts. Even Dan’s redemption through his love for Charlotte intensifies the parallel love of Lucifer for Chloe. The revealing of his devil face exposes the dark side of us all. Why in “Hell” or here on Fox would you cancel this show? I would look forward to how Chloe works with Linda to resolve what she thinks she saw. Please send me… Read more »
Please save Lucifer. My favorite show.
