What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Magnum PI averaged a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.66 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 27% in the demo and up by 11% in viewership. Find out how Magnum PI stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Love the reboot, loved the original, I hope they let us see who Robin is in the 3rd season, icepick got younger since the 80s, Robin should be known to viewers of the show.Thank you JCP
I sincerely hope there is a third season for magnum PI. The family list that as the weekly priority television series to watch together. Thanks for for producing such a wholesome entertaining television series.
Its seem like the last few episodes were from the Hawaii 5-0 writers as it continues to go down hill with things just popping up, when the script gets too complicated they clean it up with “well just do this and be done, let’s get lunch”. The writers need to complete a full scenario through. I would cancel or change its name to something other the Magnum PI, maybe Magnum PI jr.

I love this show and would be very disappointed should it get canceled. The storyline is always excellent and the actors excellent. I have watched and been a fan from day one and ea h and every actor that portrays the Magnum character. PLEASE RENEW AND CONTINUE WIRH THE SAME ACTORS!!!

First u cancel Hawaii Five OGreat show by the way, now u say the rating are down for people under 49 yrs of age. Again what is up with only checking this age group and not older generations? Please, please do not cancel Magnum P.I. like you did Hawai’i 5-o. If you can keep a a show as wretched as Carol’s Second Act on, surely Magnum P.I. deserves renewing.

This new spinoff on the original series is absolutely amazing! I am quite pleased with how things are turning out on this show. While it will never be the original, I have to admit it may become just as enjoyable to watch.
Please renew Magnum with Jay Hernandez. I watched the older version with Tom Selleck & liked it, but this new show is so much better. I love this show. It is currently my favorite show on air. I actually record & keep the shows so I can watch them several times.
Yes, Renew Magnum. As long as you focus on the story line of Thomas and Higgins. The other story lines I really do not care about.
