What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Magnum PI averaged a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.66 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 27% in the demo and up by 11% in viewership. Find out how Magnum PI stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

It needs to be renewed. It should stay on Friday night following Hawaii 50. That’s a winning formula. The cast is great especially Robin and Magnam!

I love Magnum. Very entertaining. Characters are great. Thomas is so charming. Setting is amazing. So much fun to see all the beautiful Hawaii sights. So much terrible stuff on TV. This show should not be canceled.

Renew Magnum PI. I find it very entertaining and look forward to watching it every week. I have it set up to record in case I happen not to be home.
The chemistry between Magnum and Higgins is entertaining and special. Would like more Magnum and Hawaii 5-0. They all work together well if things go south for Magnum merge them into Hawaii 5-0
I think they should renew Magnum. It’s a fun loving show that I look forward to watching.
Compared to McGyver Magnum is a 10+. MaCGyver just isn’t the same as Season 1 and most of Season 2. It’s just not as good but Magnum is exciting and funny. You can’t beat that combination.

I really like the show, hopefully they will renew it. I agree, it is definitely better than the new McGyver, and really liked the show when they crossed over with Hawaii Five 0

Took a year to become accustomed to the characters. Though not as good as Magnum the original, the new characters definitely grow on you.
