Airing on the CBS television network, Man with a Plan stars Matt LeBlanc, Liza Snyder, Grace Kaufman, Matthew McCann, and Hala Finley, Kevin Nealon, Jessica Chaffin, Matt Cook, and Diana Maria Riva.
The first season of Man with a Plan is averaging a 1.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.60 million viewers.

5 Freshman Series Part of Network’s Early Renewals
CBS today announced early renewals of 18 returning series for the 2017-2018 season, displaying the programming depth and stability of America’s Most Watched Network. Additional returning series pick-ups for next season will be announced at a later date.
The shows renewed to date include 6 comedies, 9 dramas, 1 reality series, 2 newsmagazines and a roster of hit programs across every night of the week. They also include the #1 scripted program/comedy THE BIG BANG THEORY; the #1 drama NCIS; the #1 new series BULL; the #1 new comedy KEVIN CAN WAIT; and the #1 newsmagazine 60 MINUTES.
In addition, 5 freshman shows are part of the Network’s early renewals, including BULL, KEVIN CAN WAIT, MACGYVER, MAN WITH A PLAN and SUPERIOR DONUTS.

CBS will finish the current season as America’s Most Watched Network for the 14th time in 15 years. The Network will announce its new fall 2017-2018 schedule on Wednesday, May 17 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

So glad they renewed Man With a Plan. Actually found it much funnier than Kevin Can Wait. Our family watched both Man With a Plan and Kevin Can Wait, but were very disappointed to hear they killed Kevin’s wife on the show. We don’t need a remake of King of Queens.

Man With A Plan has become one of the shows that I look forward to watching. I cant believe Kevin Can Wait made it through season 1, yet only to kill the wife off. This strangely sounds like a reboot of King Of Queens.
We really enjoy Man with a Plan. It’s refreshing. The characters show growth. Don’t care for Kevin can wait. Especially since they ditch the original wife. One of the reason that I tolerated the show. Life has enough drama, wish there were more comedy sitcoms.
I totally agree. My family LOVES Man With a Plan. We wish that there were many more comedy shows where families can relate to. The characters are genuine with daily events that are life-like. My family used to watch Kevin Can Wait last year, but will NOT be watching it this year. We loved the wife that he originally had in Season 1. It’s such a shame that they are getting rid of that lovely actress. American Housewife was another fantastic comedy show that we looked forward to watching.

My husband and I enjoyed watching Man With a Plan. It was refreshing to see another sitcom. We are huge fans of all three NCIS programs, but it’s nice to be able to sit and watch something that’s not so serious and have a few laughs. I’m super happy it’s back for another season!
