TV show description:
This comedy series revolves around a dad who stays home to take care of the kids and discovers it’s harder than he imagined.
A contractor, Adam Burns (Matt LeBlanc) starts spending more time with his kids when his wife goes back to work and discovers a truth that parents eventually realize — their little angels are maniacs. Adam feels fully equipped to take on more parenting responsibilities while his self-assured wife, Andi (Liza Snyder), returns to the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years.
Unfortunately, Adam is blindsided by how tough it is to wrangle three messy kids who can’t live without their electronics and Wi-Fi.
Their preteen daughter, Kate (Grace Kaufman), is a master manipulator and is initially thrilled that “Daddy Fun Times” is taking over. Middle child Teddy (Matthew McCann) can’t seem to keep his hands out of his pants — despite constant reminders. Meanwhile, the family’s youngest child is Emme (Hala Finley). She’s nervous about starting kindergarten under the stern supervision of Mrs. Rodriguez (Diana Maria Riva).
In the midst of it all, Adam’s older brother and business partner, Don (Kevin Nealon), enjoys giving him terrible advice about how to run his family. But, with Andi’s encouragement and advice from a couple of equally stressed parents — Marie (Jessica Chaffin) and Lowell (Matt Cook) — Adam takes charge of his brood, lays down the law, and comes to believe he’s going to “nail” this job.
Episode #69 — Happy Ann-RV-sary
Adam tries to give Andi the perfect 20th wedding anniversary gift by recreating their honeymoon.
First aired: June 11, 2020.
What do you think? Do you like the Man with a Plan TV show on CBS? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
I LOVE this show! It is a great fun family show that makes you feel good! It’s hilarious!
This is a GREAT show!! So glad it’s coming back for a second season!! We need MORE shows like this one, it’s DECENT!!
Love this show ! So happy it is not cancelled but disappointed there is not a season two release date . If you need to cut a show cut Kevin can wait. I’ve been waiting all last season for it to get funny. Still waiting:(
Love this show!! Please keep. I have always been a fan of Matt LeBlanc since played Joey on Friends. He did an awesome job with that, and he’s doing a great job with the new roll. This show cracks me up.
I’ve heard that MWAP has been renewed for another season, but NOWHERE can I find when the new season will start. Anybody know?
Great show. Very entertaining!
Love this show!
Love this show, I’m so glad it’s coming back!!!
This is my favorite TV show. The humor is sometimes very close to reality. All of the cast are perfect, Matt Leblanc and Liza Synder are perfect together and I love the brother. I’m glad to see it was renewed.
Love this show. Matt Leblanc is so good in this role, it’s a nice change from Friends. And so glad Matt wound up going with Liza Synder for the role as Andi. Finally, someone has given this woman a job in tv where she is and has always been a comedic genius. Anybody can memorize lines on a script but the way she delivers them, sarcastic, hilarious, so many good acting qualities. She deserved to be back on tv since the end of Yes, Dear where this lady’s talent won’t be wasted.
I love this show. I enjoy getting away from this crazy world we live in! I’d love to see more shows like this.
I love Matt LeBlanc in everything he does. Like a fine wine, he gets better with age. The cast of Man With a Plan is great, too. I also love Matt’s show on Showtime, “Episodes” that has another great cast. Waiting for the fifth season. However, this is far from a family show, yet very funny. Proud of my Massachusetts man, Matt LeBlanc, more handsome than ever, too.
What a great cast. Though I have “outgrown” these family sitcoms (same old, same old) I saw LeBlanc’s name (never a Friends fan BTW but loved his series on ShowTime (or was it HBO?). What a pleasant surprise to see him coupled with Liza Snyder (whom I remember from Yes, Dear). The more I watch…the more I like the show. RENEW!
Please keep
Love this new comedy! Its nice to see a married couple banter back and forth with out the cursing. Love the chemistry between both couples. there are so many funny moments Not only are the main actors great but the other cast, teacher web designer and parents add more laughs. Great cast. I hope it stays around.
Totally agree with Poni’s comments.
