Are you watching Midnight, Texas? NBC has released new photos and details for the TV show’s upcoming season finale, but would you watch a second season?
Based on the book series by Charlaine Harris, the drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where only outsiders belong while normality is just plain weird. The cast includes François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez.
It remains to be seen if NBC will renew Midnight, Texas for a second season. As of reporting, the series’ low ratings suggest a cancellation. So far, season one is averaging a 0.73 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated shows for the 2016-2017 season.
The season one finale of Midnight, Texas premieres on NBC on September 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

What do you think? Do you like Midnight, Texas? Should this TV show be cancelled or renewed? Would you watch a second season of this NBC series?
Yes I would watch season two. I love the show.
I really enjoy the show and sincerely hope there are more seasons to come !
I love the show and would love another season. Grandma makes the show and all the characters add to the story in their own way.
I really love this show! The characters keep my attention and blood flowing and can’t wait until the next episode.
I hope they have many more seasons to come, I’ll be watching as long as it’s on TV.
This was my favorite new show of the year. And kudos to the writers for staying true to the written version. Please don’t let it die.
I love the show. Please renew it for a second season. I am truly for more than 2 seasons.
Do you realize how hard it is to get a good series in the off season? This show needs to go on for more than just season 2.
I LOVE this show! Plus, it gives me a reason to like Mondays! Please renew it for another season…or two or four!
Yes yes yes keep them coming of course!! When are you going to learn that old tech network airdates in no way accurately determine a shows popularity or long term worth; as many viewers find these great shows long after they’ve aired because the networks failed to market or promote them so we could fall in love with them… ?! Also, why are none of these networks picking up canceled shows that have viewers banging down the door for more like: Girlfriends Guide To Divorce! Just look at the revenue generated by one season of the New Adventures of Old… Read more »
Please don’t cancel midnight i love love it.
First, totally agree with Carol, reality shows suck!! Midnight Texas is great, you should also rread the books. Perhaps, the powers that be should look at True Blood, now there was a great show!
IF THIS WAS A REALITY SHOW I WOULD GO LIVE THERE !!! LOLOLOL
I really enjoyed this show, yes i would watch season 2, it was refreshing, funny, and keep the action going, love the writing, i hate the reality shows, not worth turning on the tv for,
Help NM film. With Longmire going, if they cancel this and Night Shift all we’ll have is Graves and Get Shorty on Epix. Help out all the ne’er do well tech and background.
So nice to have something original to watch. I am sick to death of cop & medical shows & don’t watch any of them. Charlaine Harris is great at taking us into a different reality. With True Blood & Grimm gone, I was really loving Midnight & can’t wait for Season 2 & exploring this world some more.
I love the characters and the plot. I do admit I went in hoping it would fill the gap of missing Grimm from the network, so its not a solid A+ but Id give it a B with potential to be great. It does seem to be missing that Umph but it seems like maybe the writers aren’t putting their all into it like they should to keep viewers. I hope they do because Id be willing to stick with it every week. 🙂
Seriously love this show….please renew as I’m so sick of getting involved in shows and then they cancEl them
