Are you watching Midnight, Texas? NBC has released new photos and details for the TV show’s upcoming season finale, but would you watch a second season?
Based on the book series by Charlaine Harris, the drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where only outsiders belong while normality is just plain weird. The cast includes François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez.
It remains to be seen if NBC will renew Midnight, Texas for a second season. As of reporting, the series’ low ratings suggest a cancellation. So far, season one is averaging a 0.73 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated shows for the 2016-2017 season.
The season one finale of Midnight, Texas premieres on NBC on September 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Manfred takes a desperate gamble and risks his life by asking for help from an unlikely source.

I want to see a second season of Midnight Texas. I haven’t missed an episode yet. It is the only show I make certain to be home to watch.
I really hope this show comes back. It is amazing. I haven’t been this excited about a TV show since Ghost Whisperer. Please, NBC, keep this show for a second season!?!

I have to agree with Debby. I am also 63 and ADORE this show. I have the book by Charlaine Harris and would love it if she turned it into a series. But getting to watch it as a show is even more fun. Please renew this show and no more reality shows! Believe it or not, not EVERYONE wants to watch those melodramatic and ignorant pretend reality characters. Some of us just want to be entertained and Midnight, Texas is one of those fun shows.

We came late to show but have now binged the whole season and just watched the Finale. We liked the show very much. It is nice in the midst of many good series full up angst and grim and anti-heroes, etc. to have something with this much heart and romance among the action. In these times its message of sacrificing and standing up for each other is also needed. We’d love a season 2 with these characters.

Different but definitely held my interest. Enjoyed the show. If a show like scorpion can get another season would be a shame for this not to make it.
I love this show!! It’s different not a law or doctor show. I enjoy shows that are different. Keep this one going, it’s awesome, the acting, writing all is a great combination.
