The cast and crews behind NCIS, SEAL Team, and NCIS: Los Angeles are getting an extension to their holiday breaks. These shows and others are delaying production by at least one week due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in Los Angles. Per Variety, these productions will resume on January 11.
Gabrielle Carteris, SAG-AFTRA president, also released a statement about the production delay in Los Angeles. She said the following, per Deadline:
“Most entertainment productions will remain on hiatus until the second or third week of January if not later. This means that the number of our member performers working on sets right now is reduced. Our safety protocols ensure appropriate precautions for the holiday hiatus period including additional time for testing prior to the resumption of production.”
At this time, mid-season return dates for NCIS and other shows on CBS have not been changed.

It is the only show that I look forward to watching. If you remove Seal Team, I will not watch another program on this station. Also I will flood FaceBook and Twitter with constant reminders of what you are doing. If you care about your subscribers you will listen to us.

I’m very disappointed about the delays of my favorite shows but I understand it’s for the safety of the actors and crew.
ALL the NCIS shows have been using the fear factor way too much. With the looming question of who’s leaving, what’s changing, etc.. How about returning to a crime drama format like they did in the beginning?
NCiS been back on new year january 19, NCiS la, New Orleans back on this week. Nothing got pushed especially NCIS that all.
I’m actually surprised they are filming at all. I know just like us they need to pay their bills. All I care about is everyone staying healthy. Too many people have lost their lives to this horrific virus. I don’t want anyone else to be a victim. Please everyone in the Industry just remain safe!
Covid-19 has ruined everyone’s schedules, it’s understandable all TV series would be included!!
