Netflix will continue to feather the Byrdes nest. The streaming service has renewed its Ozark TV show for a third season of 10 episodes. The renewal comes fairly quickly, as the second season just dropped on August 31st of this year.
A Netflix crime thriller, Ozark stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Jordana Spiro, Jason Butler Harner, Esai Morales, Peter Mullan, Lisa Emery, Julia Garner, and Janet McTeer. The story centers on Marty Byrde (Bateman), a Chicago financial advisor who, along with his family, becomes entangled with a dangerous drug cartel.

Netflix’s acclaimed drama series Ozark has been renewed for a third season and will consist of 10 episodes.
Ozark Season 2 Synopsis:
In its much-anticipated second season, Ozark continues to follow Marty Byrde and his family as they navigate the murky waters of life within a dangerous drug cartel. With Del out, the crime syndicate sends their ruthless attorney Helen Pierce to town to shake things up just as The Byrdes are finally settling in. Marty and Wendy struggle to balance their family interests amid the escalating dangers presented by their partnerships with the power-hungry Snells, the cartel and their new deputy, Ruth Langmore, whose father Cade has been released from prison. The stakes are even higher than before and The Byrdes soon realize they have to go all in before they can get out.
Bateman directed multiple episodes for Season 1 and Season 2 in addition to serving as an executive producer. Chris Mundy executive produced and wrote for the series. Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams created the series and also executive produce. The series is produced by Bateman’s Aggregate Films in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix.

LOVE OZARK!!!! Great Acting, drama and suspense!! Everyone plays their roles PERFECTLY!!! I am currently finishing up the last few episodes of Season 2 and hopefully won’t have to wait much longer for Season 3. So Glad I recently found this Netflix series and I currently hope we will continue to see Ozark at the least for a few more seasons!!!
Just finished watching Season 1 and Season 2 episode 6. Really like the show but, even though the episodes are different, the premise is the same. One group or person has a problem with another group or person and Bateman (Marty) has to be the middleman negotiator to calm everything down. Same thing every episode. Hope Season 3 is different, because it is going on a downward trend. Marty needs to get more involved (hands on). Love to see Marty get more personally involved in eliminating some people especially FBI Agent Perry!
Spoiler alert..Perry does die,and Marty does kill someone else..great show..dispute what u think,there is drama and suspense..SEVERAL cliff hangers for season 3!!!

Had to binge watch season 1 and up to episode 5 on season 2. When I decide to watch, it’s a late night! Love it and always saying just one more then I’ll go to bed
