TV show description:
This dramatic series follows the brilliant and debonair owner of the Truth nightclub in New York — James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick). He also happens to be one of the largest drug distributors in the city. He and his best friend Tommy created his drug empire from nothing. While the club is a front to wash money, Ghost decides he wants to finally leave the drug world and go legitimate but that’s easier said than done.
Driven by her career and a desire to live the life she believes she should want, Angela Valdes (Lela Loren) grew up with Ghost in a rough neighborhood. Using her intellect and ambition, she managed to escape that world but she never truly left her childhood behind. On the cusp of achieving everything she’s worked for, Angela has a chance encounter with “Jamie” — her past love.
Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton) is Ghost’s crafty, loving, and gorgeous wife. She’s been at his side for years, throughout his rise in the drug game. She’s his partner in raising three children and building an empire while providing the home life and stability he wants. In return, she enjoys lavish lifestyle and the illusion of normal domesticity. As Ghost pursues the club, Tasha begins to realize that her fantasy life may be in jeopardy and isn’t ready to let it go.
Ghost’s best friend since childhood, Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) is extreme, wounded, and loyal to a fault. They began the drug business together and he loves the money, power, control, and achievement. He has a close bond with Ghost and his family. Ghost and their business mean everything to him and Tommy won’t let anything come between him and them.
An ever-ambitious waitress at Truth, Holly (Lucy Walters) developed a charged relationship with Tommy. She encourages him to seek the kind of power and control that she wants as well.
Kanan (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) is Ghost’s former boss, a man who’s been in prison for years on a sketchy drug charge. Having taken both Ghost and Tommy under his wing years ago, he serves as a mentor and an advisor to his organization. He plans on returning to the game in a big way when he’s released.
Josh Kantos (Adam Huss) is an experienced nightclub manager with all the right lists, contacts, and know-how. He also comes with a sordid history. He was persona non-grata in the club world until Ghost found him and brought him into Truth.
Greg Knox (Andy Bean) is a capable and lethal FBI agent who is secretly dating Angela Valdes. Desperate for her approval, he one day hopes to make their relationship public. Frankie Lavarro (Kathrine Narducci) is a tough and sexy lesbian who’s also Angela’s boss and mentor.
Carlos “Vibora” Ruiz (Luis Antonio Ramos) is leader of the Soldado Nation — a Puerto Rican gang within Ghost’s distribution network. While he does tow the line, Ruiz is chaffing under Ghost and Tommy’s authority.
An undercover DEA agent working with the Felipe Lobos task force, Agent Juan Julio Medina (Greg Serano) has been in the pursuit of Lobos for the last two years and will do everything it takes to catch him.
Shawn (Sinqua Walls) is Ghost’s driver — and the son of Ghost’s former boss, Kanan, He’s an eager-but-green kid attempting to fit into his father’s shoes and world.
Episode #63 Exactly How We Planned
When Ghost is announced as Lt. Governor it gives him a solid win and puts him one step closer to a fully legitimate world; he soon discovers one of his many enemies carrying out a plan that changes his life forever.

I Love Power! I love the characters and story line. I was disappointed in Tasha thinking and saying that her driven and smart husband wanted to be “The Biggest Drug Dealer in NY”. That is not who he aspires to be ultimately. That life is just temporary and she is not mature enough to realize people and things change. She wants things to stay the same but who would remain living that lifestyle? I just finished watching the last episode an hour ago. I can not wait for the characters to find out how they are been betrayed by their… Read more »
I’m wondering if I just saw the season finale. It doesn’t say so on the description of the episode (Which is reruns now), but it did seem like a cliff hanger finale. There’s also no new episode listed for next week.
At the end ghost says, “I’m going to be the biggest drug dealer in NY”. Does anyonewho saw the series the first time know if this is the finale?
Yes, that episode was the season finale! I can’t wait until the new season starts.
Excellent story line, well written. Kept me engrossed in what would happen next . Love Ghost and crazy Tommy and can’t wait to see the dynamics 50 cents being to the series. Praying that it will not be cancelled anytime soon.

I LOVE this show! My only issue is I had a hard time dealing with Omari and Nautori’s chemistry though. It just isn’t there and I think it’s because they look too much like a mismatched couple. Maybe they were cast for exactly that reason, to look like a mismatched couple. But they were never a believable couple to me from the get go. 🙁 Other than that I love the show! It is very well written, well acted, and the drama and twist and turns are awesome! I hope this show stays on for at least a couple of… Read more »
I just watched the first two episodes yesterday. This is a fairly well written, acted, and directed series…..At least for now. It seems to have the blend of action and drama worked out just right to this point. I know I’m looking foreword to the next episodes. Being on a pay channel usually means they get a better chance to survive a while longer than commercial channels if the numbers are slow to rise. I’m not sure of the numbers, but I think this show could eventually become another Soprano’s if enough of those fans checked it out. It has… Read more »
