What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the USA Network cable channel, Queen of the South stars Alice Braga, Hemky Madera, Peter Gadiot, and Molly Burnett. The story follows Teresa Mendoza (Braga), a poor woman from Mexico on the run from a powerful drug cartel, who seeks refuge in the United States. She eventually rises to power, operating her own drug-trafficking empire. In season five, Teresa finally embraces her Queenpin status and all that comes with it. While she’s tried to maintain a strong moral code and lead with her heart, those values have begun to compromise her ability to stay on top. Now, Teresa must make tough decisions when it comes to those closest to her, all while continuing her quest for even more power.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Queen of the South averaged a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 708,000 viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 33% in the demo and down by 23% in viewership. Find out how Queen of the South stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

I love this show. So few good shows on regular TV these days. So sad to see this come to an end. Alice is great.
They really should continue the show , it has the ability to hold viewers attention. The ratings may be down, but that could be because it was off the air for so long. This has the ability to go five season like “Senora Acero” did! They really need to rethink the cancelation!

I absolutely love queen of the south I’m a big fan of the show been following since the first season and I am sad to hear that season 5 will be the end I think the network should definitely have a season six and beyond usa network please reconsider renewing this show for a 6th season!

Queen of the is a movie that could be a true story ! While is does give the wrong values of rising to the top as a Hispanic from America it let me know that the dream I have of making it to the top is possible like Teresa ! Being in the cartel is not my way of rising to the top but ways she goes about it with out the killings could be a possibility! Just saying!
