The Siren TV series has been sunk by Freeform. The cable channel has cancelled the mermaid drama series so, there won’t be a fourth season.
Siren stars Eline Powell, Alex Roe, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ian Verdun and Rena Owen. The TV show is set in the small fishing village of Bristol Cove which is known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the legend proves to be true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. In season three, Ben’s shocking decision to let the reporter die has ripple effects in his relationship with Maddie and Ryn. Meanwhile, a dangerous, sophisticated new mermaid arrives in Bristol Cove, challenging Ryn’s leadership and igniting an epic undersea battle between rival tribes. All of this is complicated by the fact that Ryn’s baby, now being carried by a surrogate, must be protected at all costs.
The third season of Siren averaged a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 408,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 26% in the demo and down by 14% in viewership.
While the show’s ratings have dropped quite a bit since the first season, Siren has remained one of Freeform’s highest-rated series. The de facto series finale, titled “The Toll of the Sea”, aired May 28th.

Just bring it back! This series makes you believe in the unbelievable that’s how good it is! It tips into the imagination, romance ( quite risky at times ) but shows nothing but love, plenty of action, science, and plenty of save the world $hi! It’s super cool science yet fictional stuff!! Love it!! Bring it Back Already! Loved it!!

How disappointing! I would’ve never thought Siren of all shows would be cancelled. All that suspense for nothing? No, please reconsider.
This is truly a disappointment! I was really looking forward to seeing what came next and whether or not Ben remained human or whether he was actually going to be a merman. I truly hope Netflix or someone else picks this show up and it continues for many more seasons. There arent enough mermaid shows. Freeform you stink!

THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW YOU HAD OTHER THAN THE NEW MOTHERLAND SERIES! WHY ARE ALL NETWORKS AND STREAMING PLATFORMS CANCELING THEIR BEST SHOWS?! NETFLIX OR HULU SHOULD PICK IT UP.. ID EVEN TAKE MTV LMAO. dont you see that your pushing your fan bases away with these actions and its going to effect the entire networks fan base?! C’mon now! Im beginning to feel personally attacked, stop taking my favorite shows away MSM!

I have been waiting for the next series of Siten since the last one. It can not end with Ben gone. She also just made to tribes come together and had the only new baby. This is no ending.
I have watched Siren since it came first came and I liked it and was looking forward to watching season 4. Hope another Network picks it up.
Siren was the only show we watched on Freeform. We watched it every week from the first show until the end of season 3. I hope another network picks it up. I can’t believe you canceled it. Why not cancel all those reruns you show and keep Siren.
