The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

How are yall going to cancel and leave it like that… this is crazy… at the very least you should release a sort of update to how things went like I dont get it everyone got shot up the baby is missing… how can you leave up hanging like this. I will say it’s one of the best clif hangers I have ever seen, but to completely just leave it that way is an outrage!!!
Thank you for sharing my pain. This is one of the worst ways to leave this show. I now feel like I should take a hiatus from Fox’s shows if there are going to start dropping shows with one of the biggest cliffhangers ever. We need to make sure that Angel is ok and know why and how Jackson ended up on the floor and who took Davis!?

You really cannot cancel this show not the way it finished in season 3 you have to do at least 1 more
I can’t believe they are canceling Star! Like ratings are decent and show is great and could draw a decent crowd of viewers.

I am really getting tired of FOX cancelling shows I like that are generally in the top 10-15 shows. Wake up FOX – your losing viewers…
This show has to come back, the season 3 finally has left us all with many questions, fears and tears. We need to know what happens next! PLEASE don’t cancel it now.

I love this show. I don’t usually sit and watch tv but I did for this’s it was a great show and I want to see more. Please bring it back. I have lots of the songs downloaded on my phone cuz I loved the show.

STAR was really the only TV show i enjoyed watching
Im not a happy camper Im a BiG fan and you guys cant just leave it where Davis gets kidnapped!!! You have to at least finish the story plot!!!
