Get ready for Street Justice: The Bronx! Discovery is bringing this series to the network, and it will follow the career of Ralph Friedman. He has made more than 2,000 arrests during his career.
Discovery Channel revealed more about this new series in a press release. Check that out below.
“Ralph Friedman is the most decorated detective in NYPD history, with over 2,000 arrests to his name. This fall, the legendary NYPD detective will take viewers inside the white-knuckle cases he investigated while working the streets of the Bronx. Discovery Channel and Investigation Discovery present the all-new series STREET JUSTICE: THE BRONX premiering Tuesday, September 19 at 9PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
Ralph Friedman began his police career in the 41st during the turbulent 1970’s. Friedman was promoted to detective after five years on the job and his extraordinary career has been commemorated with 219 awards, including the departments second-highest honor: The Police Combat Cross. He found his true calling with the NYPD and developed an impressive reputation among both the department and criminals he locked up.
New York City’s infamous 41st precinct, dubbed “Ft. Apache” was home to every type of violent crime imaginable during the city’s most violent years: the 1970s and ‘1980s. From seemingly unsolvable murder cases, to undercover busts and deadly shootouts in broad daylight, Detective Friedman was involved in some of the most intense, life threatening cases ever seen on the streets of NYC. From an illegal weapons sting that devolved into a deadly shootout, to a manhunt for a ruthless serial rapist targeting women in Williamsbridge, Friedman repeatedly put his life on the line to bring justice to The Bronx.
STREET JUSTICE: THE BRONX is produced for Discovery by Jupiter Entertainment. For Jupiter Entertainment, executive producers are Todd Moss and Erich Sturm. For Discovery Channel, executive producer is Matthew Vafiadis. For Investigation Discovery, executive producer is Thomas Cutler.

I have my DVR set to record entire series. It recorded episodes 1,2 & 3 but not 4.
I can’t seem to find episode 4 again or any further episodes. Did you cancel the series?

Hi Tanya – My husband and I found the show is being aired Thursday evenings at 10 pm on ID. I have no idea why they did this to us without warning! Also, I bought Ralph’s book and loved it! Lauren

great show. true stories. this guy is one bad ass
10/10/17 Tuesday, where is Street Justice, The Bronx?????
I grew up in the South Bronx in the 70’s so I was excited to see what this was going to depict. It did not disappoint. I have been telling everyone that I know to check it out.
Every one in law enforcement should support and learn.
I am very interested in the stories. Wish Friedman the best.
I was a cop in the 73 precinct Brownsville, Brooklyn from 1967 to 1972 it was just as bad as the south Bronx. Vicious razor and knife fights , business area Pitnin ave known as GUNSMOKE for all the gun battles . Crazy and scary place.
I CAN’T WAIT to watch this show. Got Friedman’s book “Street Warrior” a few weeks ago, and looking forward to the live action!
