What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the The CW television network, Supernatural follows Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Since saving people and hunting things are their family business, the Winchester brothers stand between humanity and all the scary stuff from the underworld. Last season, the boys found themselves battling an apocalyptic force: the Darkness. Now, rallying help from their human and supernatural allies, Sam and Dean are going toe-to-toe with the most destructive enemy they’ve ever seen. Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard return as Castiel and Crowley, respectively. Guests this season include Samantha Smith, Elizabeth Blackmore, Ruth Connell, Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, Kathryn Newton, Katherine Ramdeen, Rick Springfield, Kadeem Hardison, Kara Royster, Adam Rose, Adam Fergus, Alicia Witt, and David Haydn-Jones

The 12th season of Supernatural averaged a 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.68 million viewers. Compared to season 11, that’s down by 14% in the demo and down by 6% in terms of total viewers. Learn how Supernatural stacks up against the other CW TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Supernatural, The CW’s longest running show, is still one of its top performers. Renewing it for a 13th season was a no-brainer for the littlest-network-that-could. The show aired its 250th episode on January 26th. Previously, Ackles and Padalecki, as well as co-showrunner Robert Singer, all said they would like to make it to the 300th episode. That goal would occur 13 episodes into season 14. In addition, CW boss Mark Pedowitz is a fan of the show. He has indicated that as long as it keeps getting good ratings and the stars want to continue, he’s happy with it. Unfortunately, that means there’s nothing here for me to chew on — yet.

I have watched the show since day one and will continue to do so. Thank goodness I have a DVR to play them over and over again if you guys ever decide to stop them! I’d like to see them rocking in the rocking chairs thank ye kindly
My entire family watch the show “religiously”. Very entertaining!! Always a great plot. Very well written. The guys do a great job! I’ll feel empty once it’s over. Hope it can continue for a few more seasons at least. Thank you.
Supernatural as the greater show I have ever watched I can sit here and hope that it never ends and goes for 20+ season I am obsessed with the show LOL I have two leopard geckos and their names are Sam and dean and I have a fish and his name is Bobby, I can’t forget my hermit crab she is a female so her name is Joe
It has 2 b renewed it’s the best show and would b really disappointed if u cancelled it can’t wait 4 every new season starting

Let’s bring back Bobby for sure. But how about their dad. But now we need two evils to make up for the two goods so how about the Alpha and Death. It would be interesting to see what death does know that Dean killed him to save Sam. Also let’s see chuck once in a while.
My boys will be back for another season. Who would want to kill off Sam and Dean? The only answer is their viewers. Let’s keep them around for a while longer. Who knows what’s in store for them next.
Keep it up, would like to see Bobby singer back for more, it’s intense and they need to kill the old lady from British men of letters and let the boys have control

Very pleased to hear about another season. This is one of those shows to me that you just can’t get enough of. I have loved this show from the beginning. It sounded so interesting I could barely wait for the first episode to be aired and was hooked right away. Thanks for the upcoming 13th season, I was surprised and hopeful for a 14th season also. I have two nephews that are supernatural fanatics also along with a few friends. Please keep up the great work that goes into every show. We are looking forward to season 13 and hoping… Read more »
I am so happy to see another season i could watch this show forever. I have to say 13 seems to be the unlucky season to end it I am 60 yrs old and been watching since day 1 and still watch all repeats. I call them Sam and Dean my boys . I am glad to be rid of the week to week monster to me it wasn’t working my boys are older so some of the stuff just didn’t feel the same in the early days I loved when they climbed over fences and such.
