Why does Supernatural need to end? Recently, CW boss Mark Pedowitz explained why the TV show is ending after 15 seasons, EW reports.
The long-running drama series centers on the paranormal adventures of the Winchester brothers, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki). The cast also includes Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert.
During this year’s summer TCA press conference, Pedowitz explained why Supernatural is ending this season. Pedowitz said that he had a “very, very long, sad, heartbreaking discussion” with the show’s stars, as well as Warner Bros. Television president Peter Roth.
“We all came to understand what the guys wanted to do,” Pedowitz said, explaining that Ackles and Padalecki wanted to go out while the show was “still relevant.” Additionally, Pedowitz cited spending time with their families and seeing “what else was out in the world” as the guys’ reasons for ending the show.
However, there may be a chance for a future revival. Star Jensen Ackles recently teased a possible reunion in the future, TVLine reports:
It’s a long journey that I don’t think is ever going to be over. I think we’re just going to go away for a while. For how long, I don’t know.”
The 15th and final season of Supernatural premieres on The CW on October 10th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I would love the Supernatural series to keep going. My son an I have watched every season at least 5 or 6 times it never gets old. They are at a good age now to really be good hunters like there father,mother an Bobby. We love those guys an the show. They are seeing an doing thinks we all wish we could. We get to live an travel through them an believe there is a god watching over us all.
Over the last fourteen seasons me and people that have watch Supernatural with me I fell in love with the characters so much that I probably speak for all fans that we love to see Supernatural continue and or a spin-off but Sam and Dean and Castiel and the other cast members of Supernatural have grown to be a part of the family we don’t want to see them go

I think this is the perfect opportunity for the Ghostfacers to have their own show. With Sam and Dean having to rescue them here and there. ;D

You are still a very relevant show and we the fans will miss you. So, if you come back every once in awhile we would get our Winchester fix! We don’t want you to leave at all!!!!

I have been watching the show from day one.
I am so sad to see Supernatural end. I have been with Sam and Dean from the very first episode. I would love for it to continue past season 15. I sure will miss those Winchester boys.

I was addicted to SPN since S01E01 and I hate to see it end. I hope that it will someday be revived. Heck, throughout the seasons Sam and Dean have been revived multiple times already, so they know how to do it :-D. Maybe a spin-off is another option like a Castiel and Crowley – the supernatural odd couple kind of thing, or a second try for Wayward Sisters?
Ok so i really got into this show I hate to see it end. The same thing happened to Burn Notice which was another one of my favorite shows . Anyway they had a good run hope to see more in the future.
Fan heck yeah watched every season Been here from the beginning I understand why they are ending the series now but I’m looking forward to a reunion somewhere down the road Hope not too long tho ♥️
Yes I am a fan of SuperNatural and I would love to see the series return again after season 15… I personally do not want to see season 15 be their very last one…. Please bring them. “Back”down the road!!
