We have some bad, but not unexpected, news. Syfy has cancelled its Superstition TV show after just one season. The cancellation had been expected since December of last year, when Syfy moved the drama series out of its primetime slot to Thursdays at 11:00pm. Robinne Lee, who starred as Bea Hastings, confirmed the Superstition cancellation on her verified Twitter account. Check it out, below.
A Syfy horror drama, Superstition also stars Mario Van Peebles, W. Earl Brown, Demetria McKinney, Diamond Dallas Page, Brad James, Morgana Van Peebles, T.C. Carter, and Tatiana Lia Zappardino.
The supernatural series centers on the Hastings family of La Rochelle, Georgia. They happen to own the only funeral home and cemetery in town. Because of unexplained deaths due to demonic activity, the family also offers “afterlife care.” In addition to their arsenal of esoteric weapons, the Hastings employ extraordinary strength, alchemy, and their expertise in ancient lore and the occult, to keep the “Infernal problem” at bay, in this “landing patch” of a town.

I liked it because it was different and unique.
I really enjoyed superstition. I love supernatural shows . I’m also a long time fan if Mario Van Peeples. It should have gotten a second season. I want it back. Bring back superstition.

I dont understand why they cancelled Superstition. I have been waiting on Season 2 and was just told it was cancelled. NBC is bad for cancelling series, that is why i quit watching there series, and now SyFy is doing the same.

Please bring Superstition back for Season 2. It’s an awesome show and I’m so tired of shows being cancelled because of the ratings. Give it a chance, you’ll never know. This is new for Mario Van Peeples and I personally enjoyed every episode.
We were really looking forward to season 2 of Superstition. The show had great potential for being as good as Supernatural. What a shame it didn’t get more advertisement. We just happened upon it. So Sad

One of the best series I’ve seen the last years, a shame it’s been cancelled because it has great potential for far more seasons.
I think it is really sad this show was canceled. I thought it odd it that just a few episodes in they changed the timeslot to 11pm. Who does that other than late night talk shows and reruns of other shows. It seems SyFy sabotaged the show intentionally. They keep a stupid show life Futurama and show it continuously, but end a very good show like Superstition. I sure hope Netflix or Prime picks it up.
I Hate they took away this show. It was great.. They keep shows around like expanse that make no sense and after one season why would you keep watching?? But with Superstition at least it has family and a story line. I think it was sabotaged. Please Netflix help!!
