What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Syfy cable channel in the United States, SurrealEstate is a Canadian paranormal drama series that stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Adam Korson, Maurice Dean Wint, Savannah Basley, and Tennille Read. The story follows an elite team of specialists at The Roman Agency who handle the cases no one else can — haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating, and “fixing” the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure (and closings) even as they struggle with demons of their own. Nick Roman (Rozon) is the owner and has gained a whispered reputation as someone who could sell the haunted houses that nobody else could. Susan Ireland (Levy) is an enormously successful realtor who doesn’t believe in ghosts or hauntings. Father Phil Orley (Korson) is the agency’s research specialist while August Ripley (Wint) specializes in technology, and Zooey L’Enfant (Basley) serves as the agency’s office manager. Meanwhile, Megan Donovan (Read) is a medical student who just inherited a house from her grandfather.
Season One Ratings
The first season of SurrealEstate averaged a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 315,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are typically renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Will Syfy cancel or renew SurrealEstate for season two? This series is produced for CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada and likely doesn’t cost Syfy much to air. I suspect that it will be renewed in Canada and Syfy will air season two in the United States. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I am an avid listener and Watcher of The Surreal sci-fi but here’s my comment if you want a good rating for a good program let it be shown everywhere this is the way, this way, is a good start for a good program a true meaning of this program you guys limited the cable. That’s micromanaging thank you for listening, and my review of surreal the good program not too scary not too bloody just write perfect for young people to watch as much as over men and women that like this program
I really enjoyed this show, watched the entire season in 1 day, I really hope they bring it back for a 2nd season!
I am so disappointed to hear there’s a chance the show has been cancelled. It’s the only show that I set up to be sure I didn’t miss it, and rewatched some of the episdoes. Clever, and I liked the characters. From someone who doesn’t watch much television at this point, it gave me hope that there was still a chance to see something entertaining.
We love this show. I am in Real Estate, and have recommended the show to many Real Estate Agents. Please bring it back.
Hoping there are many more seasons of SurrealEstate. It is a great show, when there is so much junk out there on tv that they keep and continue to cancel the good shows, this one needs to stay.
We love this show. I thank the biggest problem with the ratings is not enough people know about it. Everyone that I’ve turned onto the show loves it also and passes a comment about not even knowing it was on the air.

Great great show! My new must see. I am (was) a hard core Supernatural fan and Surreal Estate has the same potential for me. Wonderful character development, interesting stories and I love how the lore is being revealed. Just an all round entertaining and novel concept. Please please please renew! I’ll be watching…
