What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC comedy-drama from Castle creators Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe, Take Two stars Rachel Bilson, Eddie Cibrian, Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris. The story centers on actress Sam Swift (Bilson), who, after an epic, viral breakdown has to rehab her image and rebuild her career. She asks to shadow lone-wolf private investigator, Eddie Valetik (Cibrian), who resents the gig, but soon finds her acting experience comes in handy on the job.

Will ABC cancel or renew Take Two for season two? The ratings are terrible so, unless this show is very cheap for the network, I’m sure that Take Two will be cancelled. The ratings are just too low, even for a summer series. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. Love this show, really hoping for a season two! It has very much a castle feel and believe it can do as well or better as castle and I love castle!

I just knew when I watched take two on channel 7 it would be cancelled, everything I like gets cancelled, so I will not be looking at any more new shows. ABC ALWAYS BE CANCELLING.

I agree, it’s very likely that it will be canceled.
But if they cancel it, it’ll be a damned shame, because it’s a great show. Storywise, it has the potential to be the next Castle, but ratings-wise I don’t know.
I know ratings are usually what keeps shows on the air these days, but I wish networks would look at quality. This show has quality in spades.

I think it is entertaining, but predictable. It has potential. Sam needs a new look and it needs to be less cheesy, but it could be good. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled.
Please give this show a chance. I think it will do better when summer is over. It’s a great show. And they have a good rapport together. I hope it gets renewed.

I love this show. They have great chemistry and the cases are good to.
I am a big TV viewer, but I am discriminating in my choices. I WILL NEVER watch stupid, trashy reality shows which seem to be the staple of summer TV. I ran across the first episode of Take Two and instantly fell in love with this program. It isn’t CNN, but it is very entertaining without being too cliche, risque, or complicated. The two stars have an immediate rapport with each other and are convincing as friends/a couple and create a symbiosis akin to that of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek fame. Please renew this show you hardly gave it a chance. It seems like just when you get into a show it is cancelled. I stumbled into the show on Hulu. Maybe a little better promotion of the show would help the ratings.
