Who’s replacing Aisha Tyler on The Talk? This week, CBS announced the guest hosts for season eight of the daytime TV show, via The Hollywood Reporter.
As we reported earlier, Tyler has left the talk show after six seasons. The remaining hosts include Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, and Sheryl Underwood. The series, which premiered in 2010, features the hosts discussing current events, pop culture, family, celebrity gossip, and other trending topics.
CBS has not yet announced a permanent replacement for Tyler. Instead, a series of guest hosts will be featured on The Talk when season eight premieres on September 11th. They include Shemar Moore, Chris O’Donnell, Wilmer Valderrama, and Eric Christian Olsen—all CBS veterans.
Here’s the full schedule for next week’s episodes:
Monday, Sept. 11: NCIS stars Mark Harmon and Maria Bello with Entertainment Tonight‘s Nancy O’Dell’s Top Talker segment.
Tuesday, Sept. 12: The Mindy Project‘s Mindy Kaling along with Moore.
Wednesday, Sept. 13: The Lego Ninjago Movie‘s Jackie Chan with Olsen.
Thursday: Dr. Phil McGraw previews the 16th season of his syndicated show along with Valderrama.
Friday, Sept. 15: The Late Show and Emmy host Stephen Colbert along with O’Donnell.”
What do you think? Do you watch The Talk? Who do you think should be Tyler’s permanent replacement?
I hated Julie and Sara leaving, but when Sharon left I was done. Ms. Underwood cannot handle the job. I stopped watching completely.
Sorry, but I’m not warming up to the new gal on THE TALK. Sometimes it seems no one else can get a word in! A lot of the time she jumps in to comment first, before anyone else has a chance & she also talks too much about herself, etc. I miss Aisha, but understand she had to leave. I actually liked the different guest hosts. That was interesting!
Carnie wilson
I will miss her very much I cannot imagine who will replace her but I cannot wait to see
I love The Talk! It always makes me laugh! But there are also serious topics that are very informative. I would love to see Carney Wilson (spelling?) be a permanent co-host.
Why two guests hosts? Who else is not going to be there the first week back?
