It looks like ABC isn’t in love with Daniel and Noa. The network has cancelled The Baker and the Beauty TV show so there won’t be a second season.
A romantic musical dramedy that’s based on an Israeli series, The Baker and the Beauty TV show is a modern-day fairy tale that stars Victor Rasuk, Nathalie Kelley, Carlos Gomez, Dan Bucatinsky, Lisa Vidal, David Del Rio, Belissa Escobedo, and Michelle Veintimilla. In the show, everyman Daniel Garcia (Rasuk) is working in his family’s Miami bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. One crazy night, Daniel meets Noa Hamilton (Kelley), an international superstar and fashion mogul. The pair quickly discover they have an attraction for one another and Daniel’s life suddenly turns upside down as it moves into the spotlight. Will this unlikely couple upend their lives to be together?
Airing on Monday nights, the first season of The Baker and the Beauty averaged a 0.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.50 million viewers. Compared to the ratings of ABC’s other scripted series, this show ranked 19th out of 20 shows for the 2019-20 season.
Fellow freshman series Emergence has also been cancelled while For Life, Stumptown, and Mixed-ish have all been renewed for the 2020-21 season.

Anything that has a fun story line. That helps you escape without sex or violence doesn’t stand a chance on t.v.! Seinfeld took awhile to catch on. Today it would have been canceled. Give a show a chance to be seen! Total B.S.
Omg.. there must be a second season!! I am so addicted to this show. I still have all of season one on my DVR. Keeping it so when second season came I could beng watch from first to second without skipping a beat. I even got my husband to watch this show. Let me tell you he does not watch these kind of shows. But he would be the first to grab remote and fast forward through commercials so could get back to the show faster. Please please please reconsider and go forward with season 2.
LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Soooooo disappointed that it’s cancelled! My sister in law, niece, nephews, Mother in law, Father in law, husband and I got together and watched every episode, we would even get up and dance to the great music! Please bring it back!

I think they need to renew the show the baker and the beauty me and my mom enjoyed watching it. It seems like every good show we find and get into they cancel it which is bs. They should bring back the show and leave it alone.
I really enjoyed watching this show. Prior to this show I had stopped watching anything on ABC but this show brought me back but now that it is cancelled I will be staying away from ABC.

I can’t believe,A.B.C. would be so stupid to cancel such a wonderful show! It seems, anything with Latinos, they just throw out like garbage. Couldn’t freeform or Hallmark channels pick it up? Or the O.W.N. network for God’s sake! That’s pure raceism!

I’m so sick of networks canceling lighthearted fun shows.This was a great show that I loved watching. Maybe my opinion doesn’t count because I’m not in the under thirty age group.
I must say, I never leave reviews of shows, but I read them and make an educated decision on what to believe when I watch something. For this show? I love, LOVE, LOVED THIS SHOW!!

ME TOO!!!! I finally found a show I loved a lot and now I’m crushed it’s canceled. How could they do that!?!?! Maybe it just needed more publicity, no doubt there’s an audience for this. Ugh please someone pick this up, the actors and the story is too Good to be thrown out. :((((
