An ABC romantic musical dramedy that’s based on an Israeli series, The Baker and the Beauty TV show is a modern-day fairy tale that stars Victor Rasuk, Nathalie Kelley, Carlos Gomez, Dan Bucatinsky, Lisa Vidal, David Del Rio, Belissa Escobedo, and Michelle Veintimilla. In the show, everyman Daniel Garcia (Rasuk) is working in his family’s Miami bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. One crazy night, Daniel meets Noa Hamilton (Kelley), an international superstar and fashion mogul. The pair quickly discover they have an attraction for one another and Daniel’s life suddenly turns upside down as it moves into the spotlight. Will this unlikely couple upend their lives to be together?

Omg I have to say this has been the most amazing series ever. I love the fact that Noa and Daniel came from two different worlds and found love. I love Daniels parents they are amazing . Mateo “mc Cubano” is just awesome his sister is amazing beautiful and we all know she’s the voice of reason in the family. It’s a shame that I just found this series on Netflix loved it and they haven’t decided to give us a season 2. We need more series like this. Just saying….

Can OWN or Tyler Perry or NETFLIX or HULU PLEASE pick up this show – if ABC doesnt have the emotional intelligence to give it a fair chance and a decent timeslot!! In addition to its humor and delicious romantic plots, the show sensitively deals with family values, conflict resolution, the entertainment industry, media controversies, a teen coming out in a traditional Catholic family, cancer, etc… We NEED shows of this calibre during this season of fear, violence and uncertainty.
Someone PLEASE have a heart and give this sweet series another chance. Thank you!
What a shame to cancel a nice wholesome show where there were no killings. Does that tell you anything about our society they would rather watch violence

The Baker and the Beauty should definitely not be canceled! Finally there was something fun and enjoyable on TV that was worth watching. I’m not surprised it’s not being renewed for a second season..there was no horrific violence or worse things involved..

I definitely think The Baker and the Beauty should be renewed. It was a fun family show. I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved it and the actors/actresses and the storyline. It is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time, along with Grand Hotel which should also be renewed.
Somebody needs to renew this series it dealt with family values cancer and many other subjects. It was entertaining to watch also. We always like to see a love story play out especially when Noa and Daniel have such great chemistry.
