Daniel Dae Kim is returning to ABC. Variety reports the Hawaii Five-0 star will recur on season two of The Good Doctor.
The medical drama s centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a gifted young surgeon and savant on the autism spectrum. The cast also includes Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, and Tamlyn Tomita.
Kim, who is an executive producer on The Good Doctor, will be playing “Dr. Jackson Han, a brash new chief of surgery at St. Bonaventure.”
Season two returns to ABC on January 14th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Yes Please…. I really enjoy the show. I save it for Hulu so I have something great to watch while I am elliptical at the gym. Makes me stay on until the end of the show enjoying every minute and forgetting about the pain.
yes please have a season 3 because the show is great and Freddie Highmore is a great acter as Shaun Murphy.. Plus the show is to the point and educationnal also.
Yes, I want a 3rd season, The Good Doctor is a cleaner series that doesn’t run more to porn than a viewable subject although as most modern entertainment it has its less honorable scenes…
Yes please let there be a series 3 of The Good Doctor it is an amazing programme. Freddie Highmore is spectacular as Dr Shaun Murphy. Please please definitely a series 3 and more. Just love this programme.
This is one of the best shows that his been on the air in a long time. Please please do not cancel the show. I watch very little TV, but this is one show I will never miss. Definitely bring it back for a third season
A FANTASTIC show. I hope it will be renewed for season 3. There are only a few great shows on TV and The Good Doctor is at the top of the list.
