The Kominsky Method has some new company. Today, Netflix announced Jane Seymour, Jacqueline Bisset, and Paul Reiser have joined the TV show’s second season.
The comedy series follows the friendship between two aging longtime friends as they navigate through their golden years in Los Angeles. The cast includes Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Nancy Travis, Sarah Baker, Susan Sullivan, and Lisa Edelstein.
On The Kominsky Method, Seymour will be playing Madelyn, a “seventy-something, well-to-do woman who Norman (Arkin) had a mad love affair with in the Sixties before he met his wife.” Meanwhile, Bisset will portray Gabrielle, “Mindy’s (Sarah Baker) mom and Sandy’s (Douglas) French ex-wife who delights in still being able to push the buttons of her ex-husband.”
And last but not least, Reiser has been cast as Martin, a “sixty-something high school teacher who gets romantically involved with Sandy’s (Douglas) daughter, Mindy (Baker).”

Kominsky Method. Top favorite in our house.
I can’t wait until season 2 launches!
Loved the series. Great professionals doing great acting. The addition of more cast will take away from focus on our hero’s good work.
I think the cast was fine as it was – now it’s a crowded field of (well-known) actors. Having said that it’s good to see that older actors can still get jobs.
This sounds great! They should make a very good show into a grrrreeaaat one! Quality actors that I will be pleased to see again.
Loved the first season. Can’t wait to see future episodes which will be even more exciting with new cast members. Keep those episodes coming. I’m in love!
So excited so see season 2
