Will John and his fellow officers survive the second season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of The Rookie here. *Status update below.
An ABC A police drama, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin Jr., Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter. The series follows the experiences of John Nolan (Fillion), a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), training officers Angela Lopez (Diaz) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookies Jackson West (Makin Jr.) and Lucy Chen (O’Neil). As season two begins, John is six months into his career as a cop and is put to the test by new challenges, romantic relationships, and potentially deadly situations.

Not a fan of the way they wrote the finale , I can see the problems and and hazards of being a new rookie after being older, but I think a normal guy would have informed his boss of the situation before he was thrust into it with no backup or support
The Rookie is one of the better shows on anymore. I sometimes have to tape the show but its always one of the first I watch when I get the time (usually next day) Cast members are great. Please keep on -do not cancel.

The Rookie is a very well written show, and deserves to be renewed, beyond a doubt! Nate Fillion is BANK; thanks for taking a chance on it, and thanks for producing Season 3, which is a no-brainer.
My husband and I love The Rookie. We always look forward to watching it. It has everything in it. It is an exciting police show with some romance and comedy too. Please please renew it.
This is the best show on tv i have seen for a long time Nathan Fillion is great as John Nolan its has to be not just a season 3 but a season 4 and 5 also
MUST be renewed! Cannot be left with that ending! Please don’t play around with us fans forever like U did with beloved “Castle” a few years ago. We need Nathan Fillion and this show. Too many ‘sweetsy’ and ‘cutesy’ shows on now. ‘The Rookie’ is necessary for people so over the other stuff. A great serious show, with just enough of NF’s charm to lighten it up just the right amount! Love it.

Please do not cancel Rookie. This show is very close to the Adam 12 series and what lead me to becoming a police officer. Nolan reminds me of my rookie year and how many new recruits deal with FTO’s just like Officer Bradford. This is a awesome show! The only thing is I would put it on at 8:00 pm instead of later.
